She nodded in agreement, "yeah, a lot of people do."they Reached a small building surrounded by cherry blossom trees. "Coming inside?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

Drake nodded, slipping his hands into his pockets, "Yeah, I'm coming."

@Fenrir

She nodded and slipped inside. "Grab any weapon you desire, I'm just going to try to train, get this impulse to stab someone out of me." She grabbed a sword and flipped in her hand

@ElderGod-Carrots

Drake rolled up the sleeves of his shirt, "You don't need a weapon when you already are one."

@Fenrir

She nodded "true but its always nice having a weapon to practice with." she swinging the sword casually as she walked to the middle.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Drake followed, a smirk on his lips, "I guess." He looked to his palm and a blue flame erupted and he quickly fashioned it into a sword. He knew he couldn't hold it for long, he was drained enough as it is.

@Fenrir

"Fancy, and amazing looking but does it work as well as Cretian steel?" She looked at the fire sword with a smile "how long does that last?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

He shrugged, "As long as I can make it last and I don't think it'll be long today so let's hurry."

@Fenrir

She nodded and rolled her shoulders "I apologies in advance if you get beat." She smiled sweetly before turning hard and striking fast.

@ElderGod-Carrots

She might have been fast but moved quick enough to avoid the hit.

@Fenrir

A few off duty servants and guards came in to watch the match
"I see you haven't lost your flare." Val commented, avoiding one of Drake's attacks

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Kinda hard to lose the skills you've been honing your entire life." He replied, back flipping to avoid one of her attacks.

@Fenrir

"true, a natural part of you that never leaves. Thie instict to fight.” She swung left, trying to catch him off guard

@ElderGod-Carrots

She managed to catch his side, but only just, "Yes, and also when you practice most days for hours, the skills don't leave quickly."

@Fenrir

She nodded again "that also is true."
A male servant came rushing through the crowd "Val, please it's Clarise!" He said urgentlytrying to catch his breath. Val immediately stopped and turned to the servant, knowing that none of them called her by her name unless it was urgent "what happened?"
"Liren-" he couldn't get the rest of his sentence out, for Val was already sprinting to the doors, forgetting her composure, and forgettting that she was to address situations calmly.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Drake blinked then followed right after her. If she yelled at him for following then that was too bad.

@Fenrir

To get to the castle faster, she switched into wolf form, her dress ripping into shreds at the sudden transformation. She ran down the hall way, picking up Clarise's and Liren's mixed scents. She growled as she smelled fear laced in the both of them and ran faster please no, please!

@ElderGod-Carrots

Drake cursed, wishing his other form was small enough to transform into in the castle. Maybe he could try one day, but not right now.

@Fenrir

She rounded another corner and skidded to a stop. Clarise was pinned to the wall by Liren, wondering and crying as he ran his hand over her body. Val growled, her whole body shaking with rage

@ElderGod-Carrots

Drake also couldn't help the low and very threatening growl that escaped his lips, coming to a halt beside Val. He'd kill him, and he knew blue flame was lapping round his fingertips, ready to give that killing blow.

@Fenrir

"Ah, you're just in time my queen. I was just telling our friend here," He glanced at Clarise with a grin, "our little agreement you're going make for her freedom." He licked her neck slowly, maintaining eye contact with Val
Clarise whimpered loudly "My Queen, please don't the kingdom needs you. I'll be fine." Tears rolled down her face. She growled once and lunged at Liren,

@ElderGod-Carrots

Once Val was at Liren, Drake went for Clarise, picking her up, holding her close to his chest and carrying her out of the way of the fight, even though he was wishing it was him instead of Val.

@Fenrir

Val sunk her teeth and claw into Liren, hoping she was causing enough damage, knowing she could keep her form for long. In a moment of distractionLiren managed to flip her over and pin her down,
"You know my queen, you didn't have to lunge at me just to get a taste, all you had to do was ask."
She let out a half screem half yowl as she already felt the effects of her sudden transformation take a role on her body.she was starting To shift back. She made a last attempt to fight Liren, biting hard on his shoulder, feeling bone.
Liren let out a loud yell a d move off of her, trying to get away

@ElderGod-Carrots

Drake lunged at him then when he’d put Clarice down. He was ultimately stronger then Liren, and with his injury Val inflicted, it was as easy as pie pinning him to the wall. One of his hands had transformed into a claw, wrapped around the other mans neck. The other hand had a blue flame round his fingertips. He was snarling, his eyes flashing between his normal dulled human blue to the brightness of the bright blue of his dragon. He was ready to kill him, could practically taste the fear off of Liren and he smirked because of it.

@Fenrir

Liren smirked at the young King "so..you're the one…who has the Queen's heart…" He choked on his own blood before continuing "I offered her any and every pleasure and desire, yet she still refused. Now I know why." He spat in disgust "monsters will always want monsters."
Clarise's made her way to Val "Val… Oh no, not again…" She glanced around and ran to a curtain, ripping it away from the window and covering the Queen's shifting body.
"Cla..rise.." Val muttered
"I'm right here your Highness, your going to be alright," there was no one other than Drake and Liren in the hall and Clarise was too small to carry Val. "Val, your going to have to help me, can you stand?"
She nodded gingerly, casting a smirk at Liren as Drake had him pinned down

@ElderGod-Carrots

The claw around Liren's neck tightened, the claws digging into the skin harder, "She is not a monster." He growled. He coulnd't speak for himself on that part.

@Fenrir

Liren shook his head and coughed out blood "says the one who was imprisoned in his own home by his wife." he managed.
Val heard the statement, it cutting deeper into the wound of her heart she had already had self-inflicted. Clarise, knowing her queen well enough, straightened, despite what had happened to her "don't listen to him Val, he's wrong. His Highness is right, you're not a monster." she led her to Val's room and locked the door

@ElderGod-Carrots

“I can’t decide whether I want to kill you right here and do it quickly, or do it slowly and painfully just so I can listen to you scream for longer.” Drake, even though what he said hurt, ignored it, pushing it aside to a part of him he never wanted to surface.

@Fenrir

He shrugged and winced at the pain in shoulder "do I look like I care?" He sighed "just get it over with."
Val sat at the side of her bed "why are you so good to me Clarise?"
The girl glanced over "because your the only one who's treated me like I matter, you're the only one who I consider a mother."

@ElderGod-Carrots

Drake growled low. He didn’t even respond before he ripped out his tongue first, just to stop him talking. He dug his class deep into his neck, blood spilled down his hand. He kept digging deeper and deeper until he felt bone and then snap, Liren went limp and Drake dropped him. His breathing was hard, basically coming in pants. He'd gone into a place he had never wanted to go to ever again in his life and didn't know what to do now.
