She shook her head "talking. No fighting, no yelling, no arguing. Just talking." She said with a serene smile
The queen and her dragon (open)
Drake matched her smile with one of his own as he nodded slightly, “Me too.”
"so are we walking back to the castle?" She asked, not really minding the long walk
Drake shrugged, "We can, or we can fly."
"I'd love to fly again, if that's alright with you. If you're still too tired, I'm fine with walking." She said
“I can’t fly, don’t worry.” Drake stopped walking and almost in an instant he shifted into his black and blue dragon.
She stared in aw, not hiding her wide smile as he transformed "oh my God…….."
The dragon huffed a laugh, leaning down low to allow her to climb on.
She broke from her trance and got on his neck "okay, ready." She said
He nodded once, then took up a beginning stance. Almost in an instant, they were in the air.
Val had forgotten she hated the take offs. She wrapped her arms around his neck as much as possible and tried not to lose her breakfast. Once she felt they were steadily flying she opened her eyes and relaxed "hoo, ok now we're ok…I swear you try any fancy flying."
A rumbled that would have been a chuckle erupted from the big dragon. He just soared steadily, enjoying the breeze that came with being so high up in the air. While they were flying, Drake shot three bursts of blue light from his mouth, the light forming into a blue and white circle. He drifted through them before they disappeared.
She smiled at the lights around them, reaching for the fading fire as they flew through
The dragon let out something between a roar and a purr, his body rumbling with the sound.
She laughed "what was that Drake?" she reached up again and held the blue fire in her hand, watching as it enveloped her hand and danced around her fingertips
He let out a bird call like noise in response, producing some more of the blue fire rings.
"that's just adorable." Val smiled and twirled her hand around, causing the fire to flutter about. She stood on his back and reached up to the fire, somehow it called to her like it did at the lake
Drake huffed in response, as if disagreeing with her on that. He made sure to fly steady so she didn’t fall off.
She let out a childish laugh and reached up once more. Once having the fire in her hand, Val turned it from blue to purple then to red. She sat back down and smiled, glancing around them
Drake looked over his shoulder at her for a moment before back to the sky ahead. A soft sigh escaped through his nose.
She turned her attention back to Drake and smiled slyly. “Lets see how good at flying you are." She stood and flipped gracefully off his back
Drake plunged down at after, keeping his body close to hers as they free fell through the air. He then drove under her, catching her on his back easily.
She laughed and held onto him "at least let me get closer to the ground," she said over the wind
Drake let out another chuckle-roar before soaring higher again. He kept steady so Val could jump again.
She repeated the jump, spreading her arms in content as she free fell to the ground
Drake let out another bird like noise as he dove down next to her, his tongue hanging out like a dog.
She laughed, the sound getting lost in wind, she shifted into a wolf as they plunged to the ground
The ground was suddenly so close it felt like Drake could touch it. At the last second, he ducked under her, pulling up and away from the ground so they didn’t splatter.
She yelped in surprise, shaking from coming so close to ground and curling upon Drake's back, taking care not to look at the ground for a bit
(Hey, I just wanted to say that I'm taking a break for a couple days to deal with school work and a broken heart. I'll be back after the weekend is over and I might drop in once or twice but I can't promise anything. I'll be back, though.)
Drake let out a comforting rumble, soaring steadily in the clouds and the blue sky.
