Arria sighed a little, "And how, exactly, are you going to do that?"
The Sailor and The Mermaid.
"I don't know. I can't do anything while on the ship. Maybe I can…buy you? No. I don't have nearly enough money for that." Chesh said, thinking of ideas.
(Is Jake still there?)
(Yeah)
"I could pitch in with the little money I have," Jake offered, "Like a joint buy and then we just release you back into the ocean. I'm sure there will be other crew members willing to help."
"That sounds good!" Chesh said. "But I have a feeling that the others would feel the need to be payed back. We'd be in debt."
Jake frowned, "That's true… but maybe we could convince them that we don't have to pay them back."
"I doubt that would work." Chesh said with a sigh.
"We don't know that for sure." Jake retorted.
"True but it is extremely unlikely." She said groaning.
Jake sighed, resting his head back against the wall. Arria frowned and drew circles in the water. Eventually, the merman spoke up, "Is there really a point? I should just except my fate and you two should just… leave me alone. I don't want you getting hurt by Robert."
Chesh looked over at Arria. "Do you know what will happen if you get sold off this ship?" She asked him.
Arria shook his head a little, "No…"
"What will probably happen is you will be sold off to be some wealthy rich dudes pet, get sold to a circus and be an attraction, or bought by a group of scientist's who Wil chop you up into itty bitty peices." Cheshire explained.
Arria frowned a little, well, more of a confused pout then anything, not recognising some of the words, "What else could we do, then?"
Chesh sat there for a bit, thinking. "You could try to take a crew member hostage like you did with me earlier. Threaten to like drown or eat him if you don't let you go." She offered. "Or you could like make up a story where if we don't let you go you'll like destroy the ship or something."
Arria nodded just a little, thinking the idea over and over, "Maybe. Would it work, though?"
Chesh shrugged. "Literally everybody on this ship is unpredictable." She said with a sigh.
Arria chuckled quietly, "Life is unpredictable. Something will work itself out."
"I hope so." She mumbled.
Arria sighed, sinking back into the water. He closed his eyes and dunked his head under, resurfacing a second later.
(What should we do now?)
(Uh… idk, maybe a siren shows up?)
(Sounds cool. Let's do it. Is jake going to leave or no?)
(Uh… maybe he;s the one that mentions to Chesh that they’ve seen a siren?)
(That sounds good. Your controlling the Siren? and what's the siren even going to do?)
(Yes and maybe the siren tries to kill a couple of the crew members?)
(Including Chesh?)
(Hey, I just wanted to say that I'm taking a break for a couple days to deal with school work and a broken heart. I'll be back after the weekend is over and I might drop in once or twice but I can't promise anything. I'll be back, though.)
(It could try, yeah)
(That's fine. School and mental health comes first. Hope you can be on soon again.)
(Hey! I was going through this and wondered if you wanted to still do this. I'm not even sure if your active anymore but I'd thought I'd ask. It's completely fine if you don't though.)
(Holy moly I completely forgot about this. I'm down to reboot it)
