So this was why she was here. "I-I'm not j-just going t-to give you i-information l-like that." Ava said, trying to sound calm but failing misbrly.

So this was why she was here. "I-I'm not j-just going t-to give you i-information l-like that." Ava said, trying to sound calm but failing misbrly.
Aika groaned, rolling her eyes. "Come on. I can't just keep using my power on you. What'll it take, huh? Money, power, love? I can get you any of it."
"I-I don't w-want a-anything." Ava said quietly. She never really wanted any of that stuff.
Aika blinked. "Come on, really? Everyone wants something."
Ava shook her head. She spent her life doing what she loved. Making gadgets and robots. Sure she did get a little lonely but the robots always kept her company along with Shockwave.
Aika spun the chair, thinking while it spun. "There's gotta be something. Everyone wants something." She muttered to herself.
Ava just kept silent. She had no idea what would happen after this. Torture? Threats?
"You're serious? There's just…nothing you want?" She seemed to be having a hard time wrapping her head around that. She was used to people always wanting something from her, always jumping at the chance to use her abilities for gain.
Ava shook her head. "I-I really don't n-need a-anything." She said. O god I hope this doesn't make her mad.
"That's…gonna make this harder than I thought." She squinted at Ava for a moment before a small smile made it's way onto her face. "I like you."
"Wh-Wha?" Ava stuttered, looking up at her. She expected her to be mad
"I think you are officially the first person who has never bought into that. Ever. With a little pushing, most people will always spill, but you-" She pointed at Ava, smile widening a bit. "-didn't."
Ava just stared back at her. People take offers like that. Spilling information just for money or fame?
"People suck, honestly." She made a face. "Everyone's so willing to sell each other out."
"W-Well i-it's part o-of human n-nature. Self p-prezevation." Ava said.
"Not to the extent I've seen. I once watched a man offer up his fifteen year old daughter, just to get an Armani suit."
Ava reeled back at that. "R-Really?" She asked.
"Really. The girl's alright though, don't worry. I turned the guy in to the police for embezzlement, and she got to go live with her mom." Aika smiled. "She's way happier now, anyway."
"Th-That's good." She said slightly suprised. She didn't expect that from her.
"They send me christmas card every year, and I'm always invited to holidays." Aika spun the chair around as she talked, which was probably dizzying to look at. "It's nice."
"Huh." She said, slightly confused by this.
"So, I still need to get that information from you. Are you sure you wont just tell me?"
Ava nodded her head. "I-I won't. I-I can't j-just sell out o-one o-of my only f-friends like th-that." She said.
"Admirable. Stupid, but admirable." She stopped her spinning suddenly, and then began in the other direction. "Tell me about what it is you do at work. Like, the robot stuff? That's what you do?"
"I-I build g-gadgets a-and robots." She said. "N-Nothing t-to big."
"Well tell me about your robots. What do they do, have you named them? Do they talk back?"
"Y-Yes, th-they talk b-back. A-And they n-named themselves." Ava explained.
"Tell me about them! What are their names, and personalities?" Aika asked excitedly.
"W-Well Eve i-is th-the main one. She s-seems to k-kinda 'mom' the o-others, A-Alex h-helps m-me a lot with m-making s-stuff, W-Winston m-mostly j-just l-likes to sleep o-on the c-ceiling a-and B-Bates l-likes to s-scare everyone." Ava explained, hoping that Siren w-wouldn't try to harm her robots.
