Eve glanced over at him. "You alright?"

"yeah" he said patting the bandage back down

"You sure?" she asked quietly.

"yes I promise the bandages just came loose that's all" he said putting his hand on her shoulder

Eve smiled faintly. "And it feels fine?"

"yeah but it's probably the adrenaline cloaking it" he said

"Adrenaline," she purred with a smirk.

"Maybe I don't know" he said shrugging it off

Issac was looking up at the ceiling with dead eyes stuck in a day dream

Eve forced herself to roll over so she was against him. "Are you okay?" she whispered.

"huh… Oh yeah just thinking" he said turning his attention to her

"What about?" Eve asked softly, running her fingers down his arm.

"nothing important" he said

"Penny for your thoughts," Eve cooed.

"huh" he said acting like he's never heard that before

"I'll pay you a penny if you tell me what your thoughts are," she purred, laying her head on his chest.

"it nothing to worry about" he said

"Then I want my penny back," she teased.

"why are you so interested anyways" he said putting his arm around her

Eve cuddled into him. "I thought I already told you why. You don't look at me like the others do. Not like an object, a prize, a possession. And you were kind to me in my other form when no one else was."

"I know that. Why did you want to know what I was thinking?" he said

"I was curious."

Issac poked her forehead playfully "why so curious" he teased sounding like the joker

Eve scrunched her nose and smirked. "Because you're so mysterious."

"how so" he said

"I was teasing," she murmured, booping his nose.

"let's be honest you're the mysterious one I'm a completely normal man" he said

Eve smirked. "Indeed I am. It's been a delicately built reputation."
