Touch The Sky//One-On-One//Closed

A mermaid has lived their whole life in the water and has never seen anyone unlike themselves, with a tail and swimming underwater. One night, they see something falling from the sky. It looks like some sort of bird that's badly injured, but it's too big to be a bird..when the thing reaches the water the mermaid finally sees what it is, a person, with wings like a bird. The think is badly hurt and can't see to get out of the water and it's slowly sinking, it's wings pulling them down. The mermaid is torn between helping the creature and telling the others, finally finding the courage to help the creature to land. The winged person is grateful to the mermaid and soon they bond, the mermaid curious about life in the sky, and the winged human curious about life below the waves. They share one thing in common though, each of their kinds is being hunted by humans. They vow to help and protect each other and they become quite close, romance ensues.

So, I seriously just thought this up a few minutes ago and I want to do an rp about it. I'd like to keep it straight, and I'd like to be the girl. Your character can be either the winged human or the mermaid, I don't care. I'll post a template if someone joins

Age: technically she's around 125 years old (Which is quite young for mermaids, in human years she'd be around 19-20)
Mermaid or winged human?: Mermaid
Personality: She's sweet and caring but tough at the same time. She'll always put someone else's needs before her own and she'd be the type of person that would lay down their life for others. She's very curious and asks too many questions, though she can be very quiet and calm other times. She's always looking for new places to explore and new people to meet, even if it gets her in trouble. There is a very romantic side to her, but she pushes it away since her parents are looking for a good mate for her.
Appearance (Links are allowed but describe them as well, be descriptive): She has beautiful dark brown hair that if laid flat would go to her lower back. Her skin is a very pale color and it's flawless besides the small scrapes and cuts she has on her arms from shell and pearl searching. Her eyes are large and wide, they are a copper and blue mix, almost like the colors were swirled around. her nose is relatively small and dainty and it really doesn't serve much purpose on a mermaid. Her lips are a light pink color and she has a pair of small gills on either side of her neck. they're pretty unnoticeably on her slender and thin neck. She has a flat stomach and is pretty petite until her tail. Her tail is amazingly long (Almost double her body length not counting the tail fin). It has shimmery blue and silver colored scales with a few gold one spotted throughout. Her fin is a large gossamer fin, it's a light blue and almost see through and it matches her two side fins.
Favorite color: Turquoise or a fuchsia/pink
Favorite type of music or song: There's not much good music where she's from, so she doesn't have a favorite at this point

Hobbies?: Swimming, shell searching, looking at the stars from the surface (Which is forbidden), searching for pearls, being away from the city

Backstory: basically, her mother is very good friends with the queen and she spent most of her life under strict rules and regulations. Since the King and Queen have no heirs they want to make her their successor and of course Nautia doesn't want that since that means she'd have to find a mate. Her parents aren't horrible but she just doesn't like the fact that they're pressuring her to become the heir to the throne and find a suitable mate

Personality: Quite laid back, calm and collected, good at keeping his emotions at bay, generally a chill relaxed person, adventurous, resourceful, loves to explore, very kind and chivalrous, pretty goofy and playful when you get to know him, loves meeting new people but doesn't have many close friends, introverted but not shy when talking
people.
Appearance: Very light near white blonde that is fluffy/thick and longer on top than on the sides and pretty messy, pale skin with freckles all over his skin and body mostly from sun exposure, light amber eyes with darker brown on the edges, dark colored lips, defined cheekbones and jawline, gentle button nose, fairly athletic/lightly muscular body type, large feathered fluffy wings that are a bit larger than twice his arm span, his wings are a darker grey on the top section and lighter grey on the feathers spanning from that.
Favorite color: Deep midnight blue
Favorite type of music or song: Loves music although he doesn't get to hear it too often, he is fond of all genres but particularly likes country and indie music.
Favorite food: Granny smith Apples
Backstory: He was raised by his Aunt and Uncle after his parents were killed by humans when he was little and they raised him well and lovingly, taking him in and treating him like he was their own son. he was also very close to his cousin Tristen Who was basically a brother to him and he generally had a pretty happy childhood full of fun and mischief, often getting in trouble alongside his cousin. They lived in the mountains in a small village of other winged humans where the humans wouldn't find them. Eventually though as most young boys do he and Tristen decided to leave the village and go on their own adventures to see the world. He traveled with his cousin for a while before Tristen decided to return to the village while Keiran went on alone.
Other: Winged humans can go into the water but it's just difficult because of their heavy wings and if they have feathered wings they can't fly when their wings are wet.

The underwater city of Aegna was quite packed today, considering that in only a few days the queen and king would announce their heir to the throne. The amount of merpeople was reaching towards the thousands, with more merpeople arriving every day to hear the news. Aegna was the capital of the Pacific ocean and it was quite large, with buildings and houses going all the way to the ocean floor and even starting to creep down the sides of the Mariana Trench. Even then, there wasn't nearly enough space for the subjects flooding in.
Nautia was angry to say the least. Her mind wasn't even working properly as she swam away from her mother, who had just argued with her about her responsibilities and the possibility of becoming royalty. "Stupid.." She muttered, making her way out of their small underwater house and towards the surface, fighting the crowds of people as she tried to get out of the city. She could hear her mother calling for her but she ignored it, finally making her way out of the crowds and towards her favorite spot in the ocean. It was a nice little place only a few miles from a deserted island, it had bright sunlight in the daytime and it was the perfect place to stargaze at night. She sighed and glanced at the sky above herself, seeing that it was slowly growing darker.

(Just to clarify is this the part where Keiran should fall into the ocean?)

Keiran weakly flew over the vast ocean below him, he hadn't seen any signs of land and he knew there wouldn't be any for a while but there was no way he was turning back. He had been resting in Guam when he was attacked by hunters. He managed to escape them and flew over the ocean where they wouldn't be able to follow but he didn't make it out unscathed. He injured his left wing pretty badly which made it hard to fly but he hoped it would hold up until he could find land again.
As the daylight faded the pain in his wing was becoming unbearable and he felt him self lose control more and more with every push of his wings, trying desperately to keep himself from falling into the black waters below. He felt his eyes droop with exhaustion and barley realized he had stopped flying and hurtled out of the sky, into the cold salty water. His wings weighed him down, forcing him down farther below the surface.

She looked up to the sky again and gasped, seeing something falling out of the air and dropping into the water a little ways from her. "What is that?" She asked herself out loud, cautiously swimming towards it as she watched it sink. Her stomach dropped when she saw that it was a person, with wings to be exact and she gasped again, pushing the thought of telling the others away as she swam towards the creature. "Hello?" She called to it, wondering if it could breath or talk underwater like herself.

Keiran sunk farther, watching the light fade from above him, heavy wet wings dragging him down with them.

(Sorry for slow responses we are cleaning out our storage room)

Nautia shook her head and darted towards the winged person, grabbing onto his arm as she started to pull him towards the surface. He was quite heavy from the waterlogged wings and she did her best, making progress slowly.

Keiran felt something grab him and pull him upwards. Looking down he saw a long elegant looking blue tail and when he weakly looked to where the tail lead he saw a girl. A..mermaid? He thought in his weak state, vision blurry from the salt water.

Eventually she got him to the surface, holding him up the best that she could. She knew that it was possible for mermaids to go out of the water and still breath, but she didn't want to try it at the moment so she kept herself underwater.

As soon as he reached the surface he took in a gasping breath of air followed by coughing up water that he had inhaled. Keiran spread his wings out across the water to help himself keep afloat and managed to tread the water.

Nautia stuck her head out of the water, her tail flicking back and forth to keep her afloat, "Are you alright?" She asked, surprised at how her voice sounded above water. She glanced at his wings and looked back at him, "What are you?"

"Yes I'm alright thankyou. I'm a winged human…are you? A mermaid?" He asked turning to face her.

"Yes I am," She looked at his wings again and backed away slightly, "Can you fly?" was her next question. Breathing air was a weird feeling, she didn't like the fact that her hair was sticking to herself either, and she dipped her head underwater, coming back up afterwards.

"Yes…well..not now because they're wet but yes I can." He answered her question "I didn't think mermaids were real but I guess I was wrong."
