She nods. "This way then." She beckons them forward.
Twins Rp One on One
Alto helped his brother follow the nurse to his room.
She opens a door to the room. "Here we are. Just settle on the bed. The doctor will be here in just a moment to take care of you." She smiles at them before leaving.
Alto helped Halo up onto the bed then sat down in a chair next to the bed. How are we ever going to afford this? He wondered nervously.
Halo was resting on the bed, taking his brothers hand assuringly. It would turn out.
Alto squeezed his hand and sighed, waiting for the doctor.
After a few moments a doctor comes in. He smiles warmly. "Hello. I'm Dr. Martins. You two must be Halo and Alto. It's a pleasure to meet you both. Alto. I'm going to need you to step out for a few moments." He says gently.
“Oh-Okay…” He stood up, squeezing Halos hand gently and walking out of the room.
After a while a few nurses walk into Halos room, exiting again with the doctor. "You can go in." He says softly.
Alto went back into the room and walked over to Halo's bed. "What did they say?" He asked.
Halo was hooked up to IV, medicine pumping into him. "I'm starting meds today… They're going to see how it goes." He sighs quietly.
"Do you want me to call Alex, or do you want to tell him?" Alto asked quietly, sitting on the edge of his bed.
Halo shakes his head. "It's okay. I'll tell him later." He mumbles, taking his brothers hand. He didn't want Alto to leave him.
"Okay..do you need anything? Are you hungry? TIred?" Alto asked, bringing Halo's hand up to his mouth and kissing it.
Halo shakes his head and sighs. "No… Just stay with me." He whispers.
Alto nodded. "Of course." He replied quietly, still holding his hand.
Halo smiles soflty and sighs quietly. "Thank you, Alto. It means so much…" He mutters.
"I'm your brother, that's what i'm supposed to do." He smiled a little, ruffling Halo's hand playfully.
Halo laughs softly, "I suppose you're right."
"But I like taking care of you." He smiled.
"Good." Halo mutters, laughing gently.
"It is good. Oh and I'm staying here with you as long as you're here."
Halo nods and smiles. "Thank you, Alto." He whispers.
"Only for you." He said. "How are you feeling?"
"It hurts… But I'll be okay." He says quietly.
“Are you sure you don’t need anything?”
Halo shakes his head and sighs softly, a shaky breath.
“Okay. Try and get some rest.” He said, squeezing his hand.
Halo nods meakly and sighs softly, leaning against Alto's shoulder.
Alto laid down next to him and put his arm around Halos shoulder, pulling him closer against his chest.
