Halo snoozed softly in Alto's lap. After a few minutes a very worried Alex enters the hospital room.

Alto glanced up and smiled a little at Alex. "Hey.." He nudged Halo gently. "Alex is here."
Halo mumbles something softly before opening his eyes. Alex walks hurriedly to their side. "Are you okay, love?" He asks gently.
Alto rolled his eyes a little and stood up. "I'm going to get some coffee. Do either of you want anything?"
Alex shakes his head. Halo looks weakly at his brother, his eyes pained. He shakes his head slowly.
"Okay.." Alto said quietly, leaving the room and sighing. Be happy for him goddammit. He thought angrily as he went downstairs.
Alex took Halos hand gently. Halo shuts his eyes and sighs softly. He didn't want to cause more pain for his brother, but he did. And he was now.
Alto sighed and got himself some coffee, sitting down and leaning his head back, breathing deeply.

Halo shuts his eyes, his monitor going slower, showing he was calming down.
Alto stood up and made his way slowly back to Halo's room, hating the feel of the hospital.
Halo was sleeping, Alex pacing at the feet of his bed, biting his nail.
Alto came back into the room and looked over at Halo sleeping. "Did he eat anything?" He asked quietly.
Alto looks up and shakes his head. "He refused to."
Alto sighed, walking over and sitting down, putting his head in his hands.
Halo groans softly, shaking his head in his sleep, wincing softly and whining in despair.
Alto reached over at took Halo's hand, intertwining their fingers, his face still partially hidden in his hands. He held back tears and looked away from his brother.
Halo instantly calmed, relaxing in his sleep. His hand unconsciously squeezed his brothers, as a soft breath left his mouth.
Alto took a shaking breath and squeezed his hand back gently. "Will you stay with him Alex? I'm going to go get some things from the house."
Alex looks up. "Maybe I should go. Halo seems at ease when he's with you." He says gently.
"No, no. He'll be fine without me..I just don't want him to be alone." Alto said, kissing his brothers hand gently before letting go of it and standing up, grabbing the keys and walking towards the door.
Halo whimpers softly when Alto left his side. Alto looks at him and shakes his head. "I guess…" He mutters softly.
Alto sighed quietly and left the room, driving back to their house and taking some things they would need, clothes and such. He brought some food with him, just in case.
Halo still slept, the meds and his illness making him extremely tired. Alto paces the room, glancing at Halo every so often.

Alto took the stuff back upstairs and opened the door quietly, walking in and setting it down. “Thanks Alex.” He said softly.

Alex looks up and nods. "He's not doing so good. The doctor came in while you were away. He's gotta stay for a few days." He says softly.

Alto nodded sadly and walked over to his bed, taking his hand. “Halo? You need to eat.” He said quietly, squeezing his hand.
