She blushed royally. "You do?"
"Uh, hey? Can we talk?"(O/O) (OPEN)
"Yeah," he shrugged.
She tucked her short hair behind her ear. "I-I love you too," she said with a loving smile.
"Mm." A broad smile crossed his face.
She returned the smile. "Shall we get going?"
"Yes'm."
Atlas pulled a left, departing from endless roads of cornfield and gravel road into untouched woodland.
Kallie's eyes widened. "It's so beautiful…"
"Yeah," Atlas breathed. "A.. Fresh breath being outside the city,"
She drank in the scenery. A light breeze blew through the open window, tousling her hair.
He gave her a glance. God, so pretty.
She giggled at the wind. "Stop it!"
He chuckled, then pulled to a stop.
She looked over at him. "Oh, I didn't mean you. Unless we're here?"
"Both," he smirked, and bent to roll up his cargo pant legs, "I've got bug spray in the trunk,"
"Oh good– Hey!" she cried as the wind continued to swirl around her. "Knock it off!"
Atlas laughed, "This is so cruelly ironnic," he spoke as he meandered around the car to the trunk, his tennis shoes crunching the gravel.
Kallie opened the door and followed him. The wind swirled around her ankles.
"Alrightyy." He exhaled. "I brought flip flops too, in case we find a stream to go hunting for geodes,"
She clapped joyfully. "That sounds fun!"
He laughed a little, and tossed a pair at her.
She caught them and a sudden gust of wind boosted her forward into his chest. She blushed and stumbled over her apology. "Oh, I-I'm so sorry…"
Atlas caught her by the shoulders, "No need to be,"
She looked over her shoulder and scowled. "Stop it."
Atlas laughed aloud, "You poor thing."
Kallie looked back at him with wide eyes. "Wh-What do you mean?"
"Being abused by the wind." He chuckled, and kissed her scalp.
She blushed. "It's not so bad…"
"Yeah?" He smiled softer.
"Yeah," she whispered, returning his smile.
"Love you.."
