Apollo smiled warmly, his gaze scanning the top of the fort. He didn't really realize she was starring, not wanting to stare at her, himself. "Well, now you've got me." He started, turning his eyes back on her. "It'll be easier, considering we're the only ones here. So, is there anything interesting about you, that you haven't told me yet?"

@gracehustle

Her face flushed as she finally looked away, shrugging with a smile, "I suppose there is, but do you want to learn more about me?" Davina shifted with a sigh, rolling onto her back and looking backwards at him so he was upside down. She seemed happy to be in the fort and just talking with him, it was something to do and she wouldn't complain about learning more about him.

Apollo laughed lightly, tipping his head to the side in attempt to see her the right way. "I asked, didn't I?" He hummed, keeping up a smile as he spoke. "I'd love to hear what you've got. I like learning things about people. Especially people I want to get closer to." Humming lightly, he continued to pick at his M&Ms. The fact he had just confessed that to her, didn't really seem to click.

@gracehustle

"Well, I want to get closer to you too," She replied, also quite oblivious to what she had just admitted to Apollo, "So, how about for every time I tell you something about myself, you tell me one thing about yourself?" Davina smiled, popping in her few remaining M&Ms and making no effort to spin back around.

Apollo smiled brightly, reaching up to twist one of his curls around his finger. "That works for me. I'll just have to come up with something. Shouldn't be too hard, at least." Dropping his hands back in his lap he let a soft smile creep up as he waited. There were so many things he was expecting her to say, but wasn't sure if they were actually true. It was strange how quickly his mind was running with thoughts.

@gracehustle

"I'll start off simple." She smiled and was silent for little more than a moment before starting off, "I absolutely hate horror movies, and I know how to find almost every constellation in a night sky." Davina finally rolled onto her stomach, an excited look in her eyes, "Now two things from you, magic boy?"

"Hmm…" Apollo trailed off, biting on the tip of his thumb in thought. "Oh, I know. I play the mandolin, and I'd say I'm quite good at it. Also, I love picking out color palettes and getting to paint with them." Folding his hands in his lap he let a smile pull up. Just thinking about it made him the slightest bit happier. "I could have worded that better, but I don't know how to. Your turn."

@gracehustle

She thought for another minute, then smiled, "I've never tried to play any instrument besides a recorder, and when I wasn't sick, I could do both a handstand and a front flip." Davina shrugged, trying not to think about how much weight and muscle she had lost because of being sick. Even just walking around for too long now was difficult. "Your turn again."

A slight smile pulled up, and Apollo picked up his last few M&Ms. "Unlike you, I'm incredibly unskilled in athletics or gymnastics. I can barely touch my toes- even before getting sick." He laughed lightly, leaning back against the frame of the bed. Not having much clue what to do next, he picked something pretty basic. "My favorite book, is probably The Great Gatsby."

@gracehustle

“Is that one any good? I’ve never read it,”Davina admitted, smiling in curiosity, “I don’t have a favorite book but there are some that I loved. I’m a pretty bad swimmer, and I’ve always wanted to have a pet cat if I could.” She pulled the blanket over her and smiled, not cold but just needing something to do.

"I think so at least… but a cat? What kind of cat?" Apollo hummed, seeming quite interested when she mentioned a cat. After a couple of seconds, he realized it was his turn to speak. "Oh- um… I have very aggressive hiccups. Whenever I get them, they drive me crazy. I also have terrible hand-eye coordination."

@gracehustle

"Any that I could get, any pattern or breed." Davina listened intently, cracking an amused smile at the mention of his hiccups, "I'll have to make sure that you don't drink anything too fast then, don't need those hiccups following you all day. As for my things, I'm allergic to bees and I always sneeze three times when I have to sneeze. I have no clue why either." She nodded to him again, messing with the blanket and trying to think of more interesting things about herself.

"I honestly hate getting the hiccups. They drive me crazy." Apollo laughed lightly, clicking his tongue a bit in thought. He wasn't really sure what else he could say. Not that what he had said was very interesting, but he didn't really have anything abnormal at the moment. "Um… I'm running out of things. I bruise pretty easily. I'm like a peach- or so my aunt says. To go off of that, my aunt use to call me peachy."

@gracehustle

Davina smiled in agreement, picking at the blanket surrounding her, "I'm out of things too, at least for the moment. I'm a pretty boring person." She shrugged, snuggling further into the blankets and looking up at the sheet that was serving as their roof, "What's your favorite animated movie?"

"Favorite animated movie?" Apollo asked lightly, feeling a light flush come up on his face. "Well… it probably sounds silly, but I really liked Frozen for a while. But I also really liked The Little Mermaid growing up. My brother always teased me about it- always calling me a Disney princess at heart."

@gracehustle

"Well I'd agree with you, I'm a Disney Princess at heart too, though I liked Mulan," She replied, a bright smile coming to her face. Finally, she had found someone who thought the Disney Princess movies were amazing, and even if Mulan was her favorite she loved all of them. "Frozen has some really good characters but I wasn't a huge fan of all the songs."

"Honestly, I don't think I cared for the songs in general. But the story arc and characters were good." Apollo told her lightly, his face still a light shade of pink. He wasn't as embarrassed, knowing she wasn't going to tease or taunt him about it. "But Mulan was really good. I liked it too."

@gracehustle

Davina nodded, closing her eyes and thinking back to the movie she loved so well, "The character are hilarious, and the songs just add to it." She glanced over at him as her eyes flicked back open, a happy smile on her face, "Olaf is probably my favorite Frozen character."

"Mm, I like Olaf too. Though Kristof might be my favorite." Apollo said softly, grabbing a pillow and hugging it close to his chest. Slowly, he slid down to lie on his stomach with a smile. "Maybe. I dunno. Anna is also a really lovable character."

@gracehustle

"Kristof and Anna are really good character, I agree, plus they make an adorable couple," She agreed, smiling and thinking to the two fictional characters, "I think I hope Anna and Elsa become friends as well as sisters. They both deserve that." Davina looked over at Apollo with a cheesy smile, saying in a lightly singsong voice, "Do you wanna build a snowman?"

"That they do. And I agree about Elsa and Anna, they definitely deserve it." Apollo smiled softly, having it pull up more when she added her last comment. "I would love to- but I don't think either of us have powers to create snow. Also, it's not cold enough to snow on it's own." He hummed lightly, resting his chin on the edge of his palm. He seemed rather happy, just sitting here now.

@gracehustle

"Dang it, stupid hospital ruining all our plans," She replied jokingly, a slight grin on her face, "If we were out of here we could just drive somewhere that has snow and build a snowman unless you have some secret snow-making powers that I don't know about?" She propped her head upon her hands, watching him happily.

"Ahh, no, sadly not. That would be pretty awesome, though." Apollo admitted with a slight laugh. He was reflecting her smile, starting to play with his hair as they sat there. "Though going to the beach sounds just as good. Or, you know, anywhere with sand. We could have a fun time together, and stay until late to see the stars. Maybe when we finally manage to escape from here."

@gracehustle

(Oh my gosh I just thought of the absolute worst way this rp could end for our characters.. ;-;)
Davina nodded eagerly, closing her eyes as she pictured the image in her mind. It seemed so amazing, just the thought of going to the beach with Apollo, playing in the water, and then when it got dark, watching the sunset and the stars together. "At this point, instead of just getting out of here, we're going to get out of here and go on the best road trip of our lives, that's what I'm getting from these amazing ideas you're giving me."

(I'm scared to ask, but I think I know what you're thinking…)

Apollo felt a bright smile stretch across his face, slicking his hair back with his fingers. But he was quite unsuccessful, as they slinked back into place right after. "Why can't it be? I mean, after being cooped up here for so long, we deserve a little bit of fun and freedom. Don't you think?" He asked in a little hum, seemingly pretty happy at the idea of them spending time together. But who wouldn't be excited to hang around someone they liked quite a lot?

@gracehustle

(Would you like me to share or should I keep my idea filled mouth shut? :D)
"We deserve all the freedom and fun we want," She agreed, rolling onto her back again and looking up at the sheet roof as she continued eagerly, "Where should we go though? There are so many places to see, and we can't possibly go everywhere." Davina looked over at him, smiling at how he was upside down in her vision.

(My curiosity is getting the better of me, so please share. :3)

His smile was soft as he watched her, lightly drumming his fingers on his knee. He was starting to get pretty fidgety the longer they sat here. "I'm not sure… I mean, if you're willing to take a boat, we could go to Ireland beaches. They're suppose to be pretty stunning. And, y'know, Ireland sounds pretty cool" Apollo chuckled lightly, glancing over to her from looking down at his hand.

@gracehustle

(Ok, there are two options and both would be heartbreaking. One, one of the pair of them gets really sick in the hospital, to the point where even just talking is enough to bring tears to their eyes, and both of them know they are going to die. Even through this, the other sticks with them until their final moments, promising the other that they're going to go on the best road trip of their life as soon as they get better. The person that's sick is delirious at this point and they keep asking for the other to promise them that they'll get better, that they're going to see the world, that they're going to make it through this. Number two is that, they do get out, wether they're released from the hospital or they escape, either way they're well on their way into the road trip, and one day they hit a deer, or some other animal. The car gets wrecked really badly (which is very plausible from hitting a deer…I know people who've done it) and one of them gets trapped and injured. The other is able to call emergency services, but from the look of both of their injuries they're not going to make it in time, and their final minutes are with each other, talking and keeping the other from freaking out, both praying that at least the other one makes it.)

"Ireland sounds amazing," She gushed, nodding eagerly as she locked eyes with him, "I get seasick, but I could push through if you wanted to go to Ireland. We could visit Dublin, and the cliffs, and see all the sheep.." Davina trailed off happily, a bright smile on her face, "Then we could take a ferry to England if you wanted, and explore more there."

(Sorry for the wait, I was just overwhelmed by all of this :P I may or may not have been hit with major feels when reading that.)
(But the poor babies! Hnnng, part of me is saying yes, we should do that either or. The other half is saying don't let the children suffer… hnnng- what's your take on it? Would you actually want to, or was it just something floating in your mind?)

"Ooh… maybe we could take a plane instead. And then take the ferry to England." Apollo offered in a soft tone, his own smile spreading across his face. The idea of going on a trip with her, was honestly amazing. Even if it was only as friends, he would be plenty happy with it. I mean how many chances do you get to go to Europe with someone? "We could visit all of it… Paris, Holland… it would be amazing…"

@gracehustle

(Honestly, deep down, my heart breaks when I see characters suffer, but the internal part of me that likes writing drama and action and sadness is urging me to say yes let's do it, so it's up to you :) )

"From England we could take another ferry to Europe," She agreed, a blissful smile on her face, "Paris is definitely on the list, and Switzerland, and Greece, and Italy.." Davina nodded locking eyes with him again and continuing, "Yep, it's settled. We're going to visit Europe, and we're going to have fun, and take crappy tourist photos and buy too many cheap souvenirs. We're going to do all of it."
