After a while, the humming stops.
"You're still awake." Jaciel murnurs. "And you know this song, but can't remember where you heard it."

Ala lifted her head up a little looking up a her "I don't know what your talking about, jaciel"
"Sure you don't." Jaciel murmurs.
She resumes her song, starting at the beggining and singing in another language, the words clear, perfect. A language that Ala might recognize.

"Where did you hear that song? "
Jaciel doesn't pause her singing, her voice rising to a series of ringing crystal toned notes, her voice rising and falling like the waves on a lake.

Ala inhaled sharply before a strange flash blinded her for a moment before she heard the same voice singing.. And then she was back she shot up and walked halfway across the floor "Jesus Christ stop singing that! "
Jaciel stops her song.
"You remembered something, didn't you?"

"I don't know what it was just leave it alone. "
Jaciel nods, letting it go. For now.
"Okay."

Ala rolled her eyes and crossed her arms walking over to the window and leaned against it
Jaciel tilts her head.
"Why are you always so huffy?"
ac_unit
"Because I can be. " she growled
"But what's the point? You end up pushing people away that just want to be friends."
ac_unit
"Do you usually kiss the person who wish to e friends with? "
"That was a tactic to get you to be quiet, muffin. Stop dodging my question, though."
ac_unit
"Why you keep pushing me when you know it pisses me off? "
"Because. . . I. . ." Jaciel starts, then shakes her head.
"I can't tell you that." she eventually whispers.
ac_unit
"Bull shit. "
Jaciel looks sad.
"It has a lot to do with what you remembered, muffin. I said I wouldn't talk about it. So I won't."

"What the fuck ever jaciel. "
"You asked me not to talk about it, but now you're getting pissy becausd I'm not talking about it."
ac_unit
"Because you know shit about me that I don't even know! "
"I know who you used to be. Not who you are." Jaciel sighs.

"That's not possible. "
Jaciel's eyes rise to Ala's, the bitterness and sadness clear in her gaze.
"If you say so, Ala."
ac_unit
"I do say so. " she said sounding unsure but unwilling to look over at the other she could feel something in her gut but she couldn't understand what it was
Jaciel stares for a moment, then closes her eyes. Soon after that, she's dead asleep.

After a few minutes of silence she turned to see jaciel asleep she sighed and shook her head she slid into the floor looking across the room seeing her lay against the wall she pressed her hand against the back of her head it was still tinder
In the morning, Jaciel wakes up but doesn't open her eyes. She didn't want to continue the act of cheerfulness anymore.

Ala wasn't in the room anymore she had made her way up onto the roof and was sitting on the ledge with her knees up to her chest and her arms hugging them the wind blew her hair around a few stands in her face but she was too lost in thought to mind them
