Zoey leaned against the wall bringing ainse closer to her, "why are they after me? Please just tell me that.."

"I have already. Your eyes." Jaciel says quietly.

Zoey sighed and shook her head "that doesn't tell me anything. "
"What more do you want? The entire history of the conflict between demons and angels and how humans like you fit in? How higher ranking angels will pluck your eyes from your still living body and use them to work their most powerful magic? Maybe you want to know what happens to the body itself." Jaciel snaps.

Zoey fell silent her arms around ainse, she looked down at the ground to avoid eye contact, her face was red either with embarrassment or anger for not understanding where she stood in all this.
Jaciel falls silent as well.

After a few minutes she picked up the cat and stood from where she was sitting and started to walk towards a flight of stairs, "im.. Going to go look for a bed of something-" she said quietly before turning away and grabbing the railing on the stairs.
Jaciel is up in a flash despite her exhaustion. "I'm going with you."

"really… I'm fine- I just want to lie down somewhere," she said softly as she looked up at him.
Jaciel shakes her head. "It isn't safe for you to be away from me."

Zoey shook her head and continued up the stairs "well.. I'm not really safe with you either it seems. "
