"I dunno yet, Zoe. We're just running at this point."

"fuck-" she covered her face and sighed "well we have to hid somewhere discreet not on a sidewalk."
Jaciel sighs and flaps her wings, hard, lifting off high enough to stand on her feet when she folds her wings again.
"Fine."

"Im sure there's somewhere… Comfortable. "
"Probably. Like a parking garage. Or an abandoned apartment complex. Or something."

"Kinda hoping for the apartment but ill take what I can get. "

She takes hold of Zoe(?) and lifts off, the effort straining her already rapidly depleting stamina.

Zoey clung to jaciel as she flew off "yeah- totally.. " she said quietly

Jaciel scans the surrounding buildings quickly before bolting into a building who had had most of its windows boarded up save a select few, though they looked like that had been at one point.
She sets Zoey down then flops to the ground.

Zoey curled up into a ball in the floor as soon as jaciel put her down her breath moving steady and her eyes seemingly emotionless.
Jaciel looks actually dead. A surprise, since she was meant to be an angel. Even if fallen.

Zoey waited a few minutes before speaking softly "I don't feel well.. I can only imagine how you feel-"
Jaciel only grunts in response. It was the only answer she could give right now.

Zoey curled into herself tighter her eyes stinging with tears threating to spill down her cheeks "I'm sorry.. I- I didn't know you were being serious.. " she whined slightly before a meow could be heard and ainse showed up and nuzzled into the girl purring softly.
Jaciel looks over and sees Ainse appear in the room.
"You know. . . if I remember right, it's happened barely ever before. An angel having to save a human directly, I mean. Like this."

Zoey leaned into the embrace of the cat and sniffled
"Of course.. I'm one of those cases- being saved by an angel because the world is out to get me."
Jaciel laughs, but quickly stops.
"Isn't the world out to get everyone?"

Zoey looked up at jaciel briefly before looking away
"It's not sending.. Demons after everyone else-"
"Not like it is to you, sure, but everyone has at least one demon. Hell, I have a demon." Javiel hums.

Zoey scoffed
"Who exactly is your demon?"
(Remember Zoey used to be a demon well actually queen of hell lol)
"Can't remember." Jaciel shrugs. "Haven't seen them in a while."

"Well.. Isn't that a good thing? " she asked sitting up a bit pulling ainse into her lap
