Larkin was still asleep when Samul awoke the next morning, curled up and naked. He always was after shifting back. He yawned and nuzzled against Samul affectionately.

Samul looked down at Larkin a moment, gently kissing his boyfriend's cheek. He sat up carefully, bringing Larkin up with him. He stood without a sound, carrying Larkin to the bedroom to lay him down properly on the bed. He himself was a bit sore from the hard ground.
Larkin curled up on the bed after he was set down, huddling into the blankets with a contented sigh. He seemed to be considerably more comfortable now that he wasn't laying on the floor.

Samul stretched a bit, running his fingers gently through Larkin's hair once. He set out some clothes for Larkin, letting him sleep for now. He himself needed to get ready for school.
Larkin woke up a few hours after Samul had left for work and yawned, stretching a bit. He glanced around before slipping out of bed and being dressed. He pulled out his phone to text Samul.
Hey, just woke up. You make it to school okay?

Samul was taking notes at the moment, his recording device on the edge of his desk. He looked at his phone, smiling softly.
Yes, I did. I left a surprise for you in the kitchen for breakfast ^w^
He smiled some more, thinking. He wondered just how Larkin would reach to his treat of bacon dipped in sugary pancake batter.

Larkin followed his nose to the kitchen, his face lighting up when he saw the breakfast Samul had made for him. He quickly day down and took a picture of himself grinning with the food to send to Samul before starting to scarf it down.

Samul couldn't help but grin when he saw the picture.
Was it good? He asked, knowing the answer. Still, he loved the smile on Larkin's face, saving it to his phone.
Fantastic. You really gotta teach me how you do it sometime
Larkin brought his plate to the sink where he washed it despite having already licked it clean.

Samul always showered gifts on Larkin after a full moon.

Larkin smiled brightly as he looked down at his phone.

Samul waited a moment, then sent another text.
But I can tell you it isn't food.
sigh, alright. I'm looking forward to it! Can you give me any hints?
Larkin flopped down on the couch and hummed softly to himself.

Samul smiled faintly, trusting his recorder to catch everything he was missing.

Larkin grinned at his phone screen, trying to figure out where Samul would take him.

We'll have to drive, I wouldn't be able to walk.
Samul was keeping as vague as possible because his writer has no idea about where they were going. He couldn't walk to a lot of places.

Larkin snickered a bit to himself.
You really gotta go on runs with me sometimes. It'd do you some good, you know.
