She tilted her head. "Why?"

"Their Slytherins. What do you expect?"

"True," she said with a shrug. "But if you don't, you'll be caught out of bed and that will be much harder to explain your reasoning to Filch."

"Also true…"

"So…?" She arched her eyebrows, waiting for an answer.

"…I guess…" he said scratching his head.

"You guess what?"

"I'm gonna go. Don't stay here too long."

"Alright, I won't," she assured him.

He nods getting up. "Night…" with that he slowly made his way to his dormitory"

"Night," she replied. After a few more minutes, she left for her own dormitory.

As he gets there he was pushed down by the same group of boys as earlier.

Coincidentally, Jamie was met with the group of girls from Potions.

"Leave me alone." He yelled.
The boys grabbed him by the shirt then threw him down to the ground.

Jamie tried to move around them, but they blocked her way. "Not so fast, Hatstall."

Connor coughed up some blood holding his chest tightly. "S-Stop it…"

Jamie lifted her chin. "Move, Ellesse."
"I don't think so, Jamie." Ellesse was tall, athletic looking, and was the Ravenclaw Quidditch Seeker.

After a while, the nurse came over with a kid and yelled at the group of boys, she brought him to the infirmary.

"Move, Ellesse," Jamie repeated.
"I don't think so," Ellesse retorted, leaning closer to her face, "Jamie."
Jamie gritted her teeth and took a step back.

The kid who helped Conner ran into the Ravenclaw dorm. "Jamie…Conner got hurt…"

Jamie whipped around. "What happened? Where is he?"
"Who's Conner?" Ellesse sneered.

"A group of boys went after him…"

"Where is he?" Jamie repeated frantically.

"Infirmary…" He said quietly.

Jamie didn't think. She exited the dormitory and ran without stopping to the infirmary.

Connor was passed out on a bed. The nurse was cleaning the blood from his chin.

Jamie rushed over, sparing a brief "Hello" for Madam Pomfrey before practically interrogating her. "What happened? Who did it? Is he going to be alright? How long has he been here? May I stay with him pleeeease?"

She told her to calm down. "A group of boys hurt him. Luckily he didn't get to injured. "

"May I stay here?" she asked pleadingly.

"I guess…" she finished cleaning up the blood.
