They walked in and sat down.

Tara noticed a group of girls staring at her. "Jesus…Why…"

"Just ignore them, Tara. Remember we can leave when you want."

"Easy for you to say that…People look at you in a good way. Unlike me."

"I wish I wasn't as popular, so girls didn't follow me around all the time. It's so annoying."

"I…" 'don't blow it Tara.' She eats a chip silently.

"Hm? Were you saying something Tara?" Cory questioned finishing his food.

"J-Just talking to myself…" She finishes her chips.

"Ah, okay. What do you want to do now?"

"A;right, well I'll let you think. Let me know when you're ready to head out." Cory replied

Cory sat quietly and talked to anyone who talked to him

Tara gets up. "I'm going to go get a drink."

"Oh, okay. Would you like me to go with you or are you alright going alone?"

"I'll be fine," she said heading to the back for a drink.

"Alright." Cory watched her head outside and turned to talk to James who had just sat down near him, "Hello, James." "Oh hi, Cory. Is she your girlfriend or something?" "No."

Tara heard that and it made her feel sad. 'He won't like you…There are other people. Unless…No….H-He'd get mad…He would hate me…' she thought to her self

"She's really sweet and nice though. I wouldn't mind dating her, though I'm sure she likes someone else."

She comes back with a drink. "H-Hey, I'm back…"

James noticed her and said, "I'll leave you to it." Cory smiled, "Hey Tara you get your drink okay?"

"Yeah…I only had to yell at Kaylee once," She said jokingly.

Cory laughed, "Are you enjoying yourself?"

"Just trying to change the mood…"

"Okay, what do you want to do now?"

"I just wanna finish this drink and leave."

"Alright, if you're okay here by yourself, I'm going to tell Kaylee we're leaving." Cory stood up and stretched a bit.
