"You DO like me!" "I don't think 'like' is the right word." "You tolerate me." "Maybe." one on one

"Kinda weird, but you do you, I guess." Lin shrugged, continuing to swing.

@cryptic-glitch

"You don't like it? It just feels nice." She crossed her legs at her ankles and leaned back.

@Fraust

He shrugged again. "Dunno. Makes me feel unsteady and weird or something. But to each their own."

@cryptic-glitch

"Yeah, but that's what I like about it." She twisted herself around again, then let the chain unwind.

@Fraust

"Well, you have fun with that." Lin continued swinging normally, seeming pretty content to do so.

@cryptic-glitch

"Do you think the caterpillar is still there? Or do you think it left?"

@Fraust

"Hm… they're not very fast, so it's probably still on the sidewalk somewhere." He shrugged again. "Why do you ask?"

@cryptic-glitch

"Just wondering. Maybe it got eaten by a bird?"

@Fraust

"Hopefully not." Lin hummed softly to himself and kept swinging.

@cryptic-glitch

"It would be sad. I'm not usually a big bug person. Spiders especially, but you know that."

@Fraust

"Yeah. And I'm chill with most bugs." Lin hummed softly to himself. "I'm used to em."

@cryptic-glitch

"I just hate them. I mean they do nice things for the environment or whatever. But they have too many legs."

@Fraust

"Yeah, I guess so. Most bugs have a lot of legs." Lin kept swinging, watching his feet as he went. "They don't usually bother you unless you threaten them, though."

@cryptic-glitch

"I know, I know. And I leave them alone. But they just give me the heebie-jeebies."

@Fraust

He shrugged again. "I guess that makes sense. To each their own. I dunno specific things I'm afraid of…"

@cryptic-glitch

"Everything can kill you, though. I think about that a lot."

@Fraust

"Yeah, I guess. I don't fear death all that much." Lin adjusted his grip on the chains of his swing. "I don't like tight spaces. Maybe that's my thing."

@cryptic-glitch

"Hmmm. I like tight spaces. I feel more protected. I dunno."

@Fraust

"I guess they probably remind me of training. I feel like I'm gonna suffocate or something. Which is hard enough with the lung damage."

@cryptic-glitch

"That makes sense." She twisted her swing around again, letting herself twirl around.

@Fraust

"Mm… I don't do well with dust or smoke or… generally things that aren't good for lungs." He hummed quietly as he kept swinging.

@cryptic-glitch

"Obviously not. What about swimming?"

@Fraust

"I'm a decent enough swimmer, but I don't really enjoy it, I guess."

@cryptic-glitch

"Any particular reason why?"

@Fraust

"Well, probably all the near drownings." Lin laughed dryly. "I've known how to swim all my life, but all the training didn't exactly give me fond memories of it."

@cryptic-glitch

"Oh. Sorry. Right." She looked at her shoes, leaning down to retie one.

@Fraust

"I'm not like… scared of swimming or water or anything. I just don't particularly enjoy it."

@cryptic-glitch

"Yeah, but it still probably sucks," she said ruefully and glanced at him.

@Fraust

"Yeah, I guess so." He shrugged again. "I haven't gone swimming in a while, anyway."

@cryptic-glitch

"I don't like that I have to wear a swimsuit, though. I hate swimsuits."
