Derlik relaxed a bit as Nik calmed down.

Nik nodded a little. "Yeah…"

Derlik left his arms around Nik and on his neck, even though he'd stopped influencing him. He nodded a bit.
"That's good."

Nik shrugged a little, looking down at Smoke. Smoke mewed softly, then continued to purr softly.

Derlik ran his fingers though Nik's hair. He glanced at Smoke, glad the kitten had helped.
Nik stayed curled around Smoke quietly, his eyes closed tiredly.

Derlik slowly held Nik closer.
"Do you want to sleep?" He asked.
Nik opened his eyes a little bit, unsure how to answer. He didn't know if Derlik would do the same thing he did last night, with turning him into a doll.

Derlik ran his fingers through Nik's hair.
"You look like you need it…" There wasn't any movement to touch Nik's cheek, thankfully.
He closed his eyes again, shrugging his shoulders a little.

Derlik stood up now, still holding Nik close. He laid the man down on the boulder, running his fingers through Nik's hair once.
Nik shfited a little when he was set down on the boulder, but didn't otherwise respond.

Derlik let out a soft hum, settling down with Nik. Still, no turning. He didn't even try to snuggle against Nik, giving him some space and the option as to whether or not to.
Nik still had his arms tucked around Smoke. He eventually rolled onto his side in order to curl in on himself, eyes still closed.

Derlik watched Nik, sighing gently.
Nik let out a faint breath, still curled up with Smoke.

Derlik closed his eyes a moment.
Nik let out a slightly shaky breath, remembering all the times someone had approached him because of what he used to be.

Derlik watched Nik closely, then reached out to lightly touch Nik's forehead. This would take more than just word, he knew.
"Relax… Let them slip from you're mind." He spoke with a calm assurance, gentle still.
Nik opened his eyes, peering up at Derlik and letting out a shaky breath.

Derlik gently brushed some hair out of Nik's face.
"How are you feeling..?"
He shrugged a little bit.

Nik was quiet, closing his eyes again after a moment.

Derlik moved his hand to Nik's neck, staying close to Nik.
