"Did… He do anything to the person who approached you?" She wrote slowly.

"I…he…said something, but…I wasn't really paying attention."

Twili nodded a bit, pressing her lips together.
"Why?" he asked, looking up at her.

"Well… He might be doing something to them," Twili admitted carefully.
He frowned a little bit.

Twili set her board down, concerned a bit. Just what was Derlik doing?
He looked over at her quietly.

Twili glanced at Nik.
"I-" she stood writing a moment. Derlik came walking back into the clearing, wipping something red from his cheek.
Nik looked up as Derlik came back, eyes widening a little at the sight of the red…whatever it was.

Derlik hummed to himself, holding something in his other hand. Twili had an idea what it was, and looked away.
Nik wasn't quite sure what it was, and wasn't really sure he wanted to know, either.

Derlik sat back down, glancing at Twili and lightly patting her head.
"How are you doing?" He asked Nik.
Nik shrugged a little bit, still holding onto Smoke.

Derlik hummed again, lifting the thing up in his hand to slip into his pocket. Is was a pale blue ball, and it seemed to be glowing. Twili flinched a bit at it.
"I see…"
He frowned a little, unsure what the blue ball was, but didn't ask about it.

Twili shifted, moving to write something. Derlik ignored her, looking at Nik.
Nik shifted a little bit, looking down at Smoke.

Derlik reached over, gently petting Smoke.
Smoke shifted a little, sound asleep in Nik's arms.

Derlik smiled softly, glancing up at Nik.
"You won't have to worry about running into that man anymore," he said simply.
Nik frowned slightly. "What did you do?" he asked slowly, not sure he wanted the answer.

"I… Took care of him." Derlik chuckled darkly, pulling it the orb again.
His eyebrows drew together a little.

"Do you know what this is?" Derlik asked, the open between two fingers, almost like a peace sign.
He shook his head slightly. "No…"

"It's a soul," Derlik explained. He smirked a bit. "Can you guess who's it is?"
He frowned. "It's…the guy who harassed me, isn't it." he said slowly, frowning.

"Bingo." Derlik turned his hand, looking at the orb.
"I'm still figuring it what to do with him."
He closed his eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath.
