Magic Potions, Mad Tea Party, Alice in Wonderland... (brainstorm with me please?)

I'm writing an Alice in Wonderland retelling/twisted/fractured fairy tale thing. In my Wonderland, tea has magical powers (essentially, they're magic potions). However, the type of tea and how often you consume it has an effect on your mental state. The Mad Hatter is mad because he took too many potions/drank too much tea. I have three categories- First, basic, where the tea is safe, the only effect is it gets less potent over time. Some of my teas in this category are sleeping, energy, shrinking (bc of the 'drink me' stuff in the original AiW), clarity of mind, and energy. Second, advanced. These potions should be used sparingly and with caution. Using these opens the door for madness, and excess will drive one mad. I have healing, strength, happiness, speed, agility, and a few others in this category. Third, expert. These are ones that have drastic effects- only one, maybe two, should be consumed over a lifetime. These are love potions, potions to revive the dead, skill, prophecy (the most dangerous of all). I would like more ideas for potions, and also, if you have a better naming system for the categories, please, by all means! I also have some tea party type foods with magical properties, like the "eat me" cookies that make Alice grow, and mushroom stew from the mushrooms that have similar effects (again, original AiW). So, any ideas to make my mad tea party extra magical? Please and thank you!

Also, what exactly is the tea made up? Magic or herbs or artificial flavors?

I'm thinking that bc it's Wonderland, the herbs/plants are inherently magical, so each plant-based tea has a specific quality. Like, chamomile tea is supposed to help you sleep, so in Wonderland with Wonderland chamomile it's actually a sleeping draught.
Also, I'm thinking sugar, if you add too much, lessens potency. Like, I don't drink tea, but putting sugar cubes in tea is a thing right? So more than two sugar cubes reduces potency.
And for the tarts/cookies/biscuits/tea party food, the finished product is more magical than the raw ingredients. For example, fruit is benign, it has no effects. But my fruit tarts make people tell the truth

… I don't know……. what an interesting idea…… what kind of properties do you think it would have? Like, obviously, Alice isn't from Wonderland. It's prob not a Greek Underworld thing like if you drink the water you're stuck there…

I do have that, but not all food is magical. The tea party food is, but I figure not all food can be magical or Wonderland would be crazier than it already is. People just need to eat sometimes lol

Maybe a legend…. Or we could be v basic and just call it like… yeah sanity river, but I like River of Sanity better, or of clarity
