Well keep talking so I can get ideas. WOW this is the most i've thought about since. Counts fingers. APRIL!
Magic Potions, Mad Tea Party, Alice in Wonderland... (brainstorm with me please?)
I HAVEN'T EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT RABBIT HOLES HECK
THEY CAN BE PORTALS- or at least what portals look like on the Wonderland side. I'm not planning on doing a lot of worldbuilding or development for neverland bc it's not where the novel takes place, so I'm not gonna worry much about what they look like on the NL side
Well I had an idea
What if a few rabbit holes (not all, mind you,) led to Neverland, maybe PP’s tree itself, and that’s how Peter found wonderland in the first place?
I can totally imagine Peter Pan accidently tripping inside a hole that leads to neverland.
What if we also use mirrors as portals too?
Ooh, I like that!!! V good. DOES THAT MEAN I CAN HAVE MAGIC RABBITS THAT MAKE PORTALS THAT'S SO RAD
That might be too much, don’t you think? I mean the mirrors

YEAH

The White Rabbits could be like the keeper of the portals and make sure, like they don't go out of control or something?
I think v few mirrors should be portals- they're rare, difficult to make, and VERY EXPENSIVE. So some mirrors are portals, but not most

Maybe, like the main portal to wonderland was a mirror?
From where? From Earth? Idk, wasn't that a rabbit hole in bk 1? And I remember that in bk 2 she goes through the looking glass, but I can't remember if it was just another part of wonderland or….? I do know that in Marissa Meyer's Heartless (great book, I LOVE IT), another AiW story, the land from Through the Looking Glass is called Chess, and is another country/land, but I can't remember if that's actually original canon
Maybe theres a mirror and its the only portal to get to Neverland?

Hmmm I like that. It makes sense as to why there's not many crossovers. But I also really love the idea of Peter Pan accidentally falling into a rabbit hole lol. So maybe a rogue rabbit makes the hole, and Peter falls through before the White Rabbits can close it?
I am just imagine it.
Lost Boy named Bob: Peter, there's something you need to see.
Peter: Not right now Bob
Bob: But Peter it's urgent.
Peter: I said, not right now bo- Falls in a hole.
Also, as to the guardian of the Meminileth, I have a magic crumpet that, when broken in half, can summon someone. Maybe the Hatter/others use it to summon the river's guardian, who then guides them there? I also have a tea (advanced, so mildly dangerous) that acts as a sort of locator potion, so that can be a 50/50 chance of helping find the river (the river is magic, so I guess it doesn't make sense to be able to find it every time, you know?)

Wait, but if it does that, then someone would of found the river already?

50/50, those are pretty good chances of someone finding the river with the potion.

Maybe… 80% failure, 20% success?
95% failure, 5% success.
Okay, that's fair
So question, would the final battle be by the river? One side on one and the other side across from another? Maybe one of the streams could be like for dark magic?
Actually, I was thinking that they would go to the realm of Time (you know how in the Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland movie Time is a realm?), bc like, Time is both of their enemies
I will prob do a dark magic and a light magic river

I've never watched a Wonderland movie before so I don't know, wait so they're going to fight against time?
Also… I want a river that's v tumultuous, but you get on a boat, and if you have a good captain, you can get wherever you need to go, so the river of travel I think
No, but I feel like that's "even" ground, so to speak. Or no man's land. but they are fighting against each other, due to diff ideologies
