Damien half turned to look at them and back to Astrid, "Okay…"

"It's just they're being stupid, that's all."

"Th-That's to be expected."

"Sorry if Connor and Markus make you feel uncomfortable," Astrid said. "They've been together since they were 16, and got married last year. They don't really care what other people think which can make them…inappropriate at times."

Damien waved a hand, "I-It's fine, Luke was the same so… so it doesn't bother me."

"Have I ever told you what my favourite songs are?"

Damien shook his head no.

"My favourite songs are King by Lauren Aquilina and Who You Are by Auli'i Cravalho. Do you want to know why they're my favourite songs?"

"I-I have a feeling you're going to… going to tell m anyway but s-sure, tell me."

You know who you are," Astrid sang. "To me, this song is saying that no matter what happens and no matter what anyone says of you, they aren't true. Nothing they say matters as long as you know who you are."

"A-And what if you don't… if you don't know who you are?"

"Well then you find people to help you discover that."

Damien nodded slowly, "R-Right… yeah…"

Astrid smiled nervously.

"Thank-you…" Damien pressed a kiss to her lips, "Sh-shou'd we head back?"

"Yes, lets," Astrid replied.

Damien carefully grabbed Astrid's hand and led them back to the group.

Natalie rolled her eyes at her brother and brother-in-law, who were making out without caring. "Wrap it up boys," She said as Damien and Astrid walked towards them.

"P-Please don't stop on our… on our account." Damien said with a small laugh.

"If not yours then mine," Natalie stressed.

“Alright, w-we get it, Natalie.” Damien said, sitting down.

"I mean, I'm not against you two. I'm against you making out right in front of me."

"I-Is someone jealous?" Damien raised an eyebrow.

"No! I don't want to see my brother and his husband making out in that way. It's gross."

"Yup, d-definitely jealousy, I've seen it before."

"Why would I be jealous? They're gay and I'm lesbian."

"I-I just meant jealous in general." Damien held his hands up in innocence.

Natalie just huffed.

Damien laughed a little, surprising himself a little.
