Cameron started at the mention of a 'sleeping bag'. "Nonononono I'll sleep in your bed."

"All right, then," Lilah chuckled. "Should we go get you some pajamas from Liam? Or would you rather that I do that myself?"

Cameron rubbed his neck. "I could just sleep in this. I don't wanna continue bothering Liam for clothes."

Cameron ambled over. "I'll come with." He grinned.

"All right!" Lilah chirped as she set her pajamas on the floor next to the door. She opened the door and stepped out, leading Cameron back to Liam's room.

Cameron followed, gazing around the palace. He wanted to learn the layout quickly enough so that he wasn't wandering around stupidly if he got lost.

They arrived at Liam's room again, where laughing could be heard coming from behind the door. A crash sounded, like someone tossing a box of game pieces into the floor.
"Liam!" a distinctly feminine voice laughed. "You sore loser!"
"Says the cheater!" came the male voice, a hint of laughter hidden in it.

Cameron heard and bit his lip. They sound like they're having fun.
Maybe that's what she wanted from you?
Cameron didn't realize his grin had slipped off of his face, to be replaced instead with a constricting feeling in his chest.

Lilah laughed at the noise coming from her brother's room, oblivious to Cameron's plight. She knocked on the door and waited for Liam to open it.
"Just a minute!" he called. He must have stepped on something on his way to the door because a loud "Ow!" came from him.
"That's what you get for throwing the game on the floor!" Jessica laughed.

Liam finally opened the door, grinning as he shook his head at his girlfriend.
"Yeah, Lil?" he asked.
"Can we get a set of pajamas from you?" Lilah asked. "Please?"
"Oh, uh, sure… I didn't realize Cameron was spending the night," Liam said.
"It was a sort of last-minute decision," Lilah explained with a shrug.
"Ah, okay. Give me one moment," Liam said as he slipped back into the room.
