Cameron nodded. "Okay. I'm sorry, for…" Cameron trailed off, not quite sure why he was sorry.

"Nothing," Lilah filled in for him softly. "You have nothing to be sorry for."

Cameron gazed at her unsurely but nodded anyway. "Okay. You're right."

Lilah smiled gently, then leaned a bit closer and pressed a light kiss to his lips.

"Night, Cam," she murmured.

Cameron felt himself put on a genuine smile. "Night, Lilah."

Lilah smiled before closing her eyes. Not much later, her breathing deepened as she fell asleep.

Cameron smiled at her a little longer until he himself shut his eyes. He listened to her breathing for a while before dozing off himself.

(Skip?)

(Yeah.)

Light streamed in through the curtains, shining right across Lilah's face. She grunted and rolled over so that her face was practically buried in Cameron's chest.

Cameron had his arms wrapped around her and their legs entwined comfortably. He shifted slightly when she rolled over but didn't wake.

Lilah kept her face buried in his chest. Thus hidden from the light, she soon fell back asleep, not caring about the time, since it was Saturday.

Cameron's breath soon deepened back into his sleepily rumbles. His face fell to the side, his mouth open somewhat as he snored.

Lilah reached a hand up to close Cameron's mouth. She wrapped her arms back around him when she was done.

Cameron clicked his teeth together a couple times and stirred sleepily. "Mmm…?" He rose his head hazily, decided it was nothing, then plopped his head back down.

About an hour later, Lilah sighed through her nose and nuzzled Cameron's chest.

"Wake up," she murmured sleepily.

One of Cameron's legs twitched as she spoke but he resolved in continuing to sleep, as dead as a rock. He inhaled softly through his nose, yet a soft rumble still purred in his chest.

"Cameron, wake up," Lilah murmured, nuzzling right under his collarbone this time.

Cameron stirred, shifting his shoulders. "Lilah?" He asked hazily, "what's wrong?"

"It's morning," Lilah groaned. "Make it go 'way."

Cameron groaned too. "Noooooooooooo no morning." He shook his head side-to-side slowly.

"We are not morning people," Lilah realized with a chuckle.

Cameron relaxed back into the bed with a sigh. "We can do things… in the not morning."

"Like… The noon? Or afternoon?" Lilah murmured.

"The… the not… morning…" Cameron was already slowly drifting off.

"Hm…" Lilah hummed and buried her face back in Cameron's chest.

Cameron pulled her closer and buried his head into her hair sleepily. “Mmm… your hair smells nice…”

"I blame strawberry shampoo," Lilah murmured. "You just smell nice in general."

Cameron hummed drearily. “That’s a lie… You always smell good.”

"Yeah, because of my shampoo… And matching body wash," Lilah murmured.

Cameron nuzzled into her. “No… you’re good.” He left it at that.

Lilah snorted and muttered, "Fine," reluctantly.
