Charlotte looked over and smiled at Lightning, stepping out of the carriage.
Lightning ran after her, climbing up onto her shoulder.
Quinn helped Aster up.
Charlotte winced. "Other shoulder, Lightning," she delicately moved Lightning to her other shoulder.
Lightning rubbed her head against Charlotte's cheek.
Charlotte smiled at Lightning and leaned against the carriage.
Quinn led Aster out, supporting the other male carefully.
Charlotte looked around at her surroundings and sighed.
Quinn led them towards the hotel.
Lightning chittered softly.
Charlotte followed silently, gently petting Lightning to calm her.
Lightning snuggled close to her.
Quinn checked them in, Aster still leaning against him.
Charlotte watched boredly, scanning the room.
The hotel clerk handed Quinn keys for the rooms.
Charlotte sighed in frustration. Could they possibly go any slower?
Quinn started walking, Aster still leaning against him.
Charlotte followed at what seemed to be a snail's pace. God's above, her great grandmother had moved faster with broken hips.
Quinn helped Aster into a bedroom, sitting him down on the bed, then coming out. He frowned slightly as he counted the keys. "Hm."
Charlotte groaned. "Is there a problem?" She asked frustratedly.
"Yes. We have one less room than we have people." Quinn tossed her a key. "Here."
Charlotte frowned and checked the number on the key, going to go unlock the room.
Quinn headed downstairs to check with the desk clerk.
Charlotte shut the door with a quiet snap and flew backwards into the bed. God, she was exhausted.
Lightning clung to her anxiously.

Charlotte stared at the ceiling, occasionally reaching over to pet Lightning.
Lightning snuggled up to her.
Quinn sighed as he spoke with the desk clerk.
Charlotte blinked heavily, exhausted. She considered going to put on a nightgown, but eventually fell asleep right where she was.
Quinn sighed, and went to Aster's room. He would have to share a room with him.
