In the morning…
Quinn woke up laying with his back to Aster, and he sat up, stretching.
Aster was still asleep.

Charlotte opened her eyes with a loud yelp and sat up, looking around. She smoothed her hair down, breathing heavily, and went to open the window.
Lightning, as a nocturnal animal, had been awake and exploring the room all night.
Charlotte threw the window open and sighed deeply. "Gods, I'm starving," she muttered. It had been a while since she'd felt hungry… or eaten, for that matter.
Lightning sat up, flicking her tail sleepily.
Quinn got ready for the day, letting Aster sleep a while longer.
Charlotte smiled at Lightning, going to pick her up and putting the little creature on her shoulder before leaving her room.
Quinn sighed, combing his hair.
Lightning snuggled against her sleepily.
Charlotte rushed out towards the clerking desk and looked around for the eating area, finding it quickly and heading towards it.
Lightning held on with her claws.
Charlotte found and devoured a muffin off of the counter.

Quinn headed downstairs to check about breakfast, humming softly. His black hait was messy and rather untamed.
(Wait what? No! Where did you get that idea? Did I post something that made you think so? I unfollowed it a while ago)
Charlotte picked up an apple and strolled to a table in the corner if the room to eat it.
(Nono, nothing you said, it's just my Anxiety jazz hands makes me incredibly anxious when I see people openly being rude and I'm worried that I'm being too nice to people and people might think I'm being fake and um yeah it sort of makes me panic just a little?)
Quinn sighed softly, and peeked into the room.
(Ohhh okay okay. No, don't worry about it so much, it's fine! Really :) )
Charlotte leaned against the back of her seat contentedly and plucked off a piece of her apple to give to Lightning.
(Ok thank you ^ ^)
Lightning happily chewed on the apple, sitting up and holding it between her paws.
Charlotte glanced around the room, noticing small design details. "I think my eyes work better when I'm in a good mood," she commented to Lightning.
Lightning flicked her tail, still nibbling at the fruit.
Charlotte sighed happily and stood up to get more fruit.
Quinn was over at the breakfast counter, grabbing some food for himself.
Charlotte nodded to Quinn and smiled blankly, taking a few strawberries.
Lightning kept nibbling happily at the fruit.
Quinn nodded back. "Sleep well?" He asked.
"Er… well enough," Charlotte responded, handing Lightning a particularly small strawberry.
Lightning took the strawberry in her paws, munching happily.
Quinn nodded. "Alright. That's good." He replied.
Charlotte nodded and abruptly turned to go back to her table.
Quinn raised an eyebrow slightly. "That was rude." He muttered to himself.
Charlotte sighed as she sat down, frustrated. "What would you think of going for another walk, Lightning?"
Lightning chittered softly, nibbling on the strawberry still.
Charlotte nodded solemnly. "You're right. I am absolutely insane."
Lightning flicked her tail happily.
Quinn sat down, eating.
