"Alright." Ezra erased a lot but ended up with something he liked a fair amount. "That looks really nice."

“Not done yet,” She took out a binder, filled with pencil crayons.
"Color. It brings hope and light to all it touches." Ezra smiled as he watched the color dance across the page.
“But, not all Ezra,” Lydial said darkly.
"Oh really? What aren't you gonna cover?" Ezra asked, mildly intrigued.
She ignored his question. “Not all colour brings hope and light,”
"True. And before you say black, black is the absence of light and since light is color black isn't really a color. The hope thing is more random." Ezra said, he loved science.
“Black isn’t a colour, it’s a shade,” She shook her head, snapping her out of the daze. “Sorry you had to hear, it,”
Ezra sighed. "Alright. If you say so…"

"So, do you like it?" Lydial asked him.
"Yes. Almost as much as I like you." Realizing what he said he stood quickly. "I meant the other drawing you did before." Then to himself with his back to her, "Gaahhhh why am I so awkward?"
"I can still hear you," She said. "Your fine Ezra,"
In a quieter voice he cursed himself, "Dang it." He took a deep breath and turned around. "I'm sorry, Lydial. I wish I wasn't so awkward. It would make my life so much easier."
"Your fine, just stop killing yourself for me, okay?" She looked up at him, inspecting every aspect of his face.
"Right." Ezra sighed. "I'm gonna head up to my bunk. if you need me that's where I'll be" Ezra turned and started heading up to his bunk. Not disappointed, just embarrassed.
She flipped over to the next page, staring the white. She flipped to the very back page, The No List. She grabbed her favourite pen, scribbling another thing down. She shut it away quickly, making sure no one saw.
