"Oh. I'm not that good."She blushed, shrugging the compliments off.

“Yes, you are.”
Jay threw his arms in the air. "Are you kidding? You're amazing!"
"He's right," Nathan said. "Rose, that was terrific!" He gave her a high-five.
“Gorgeous,” Liia sighed.
"I'm sure you're good, too." She laughed, returning the high-five to Nathan.
“Nope.”
"Alright. Are we gonna do it for real with the instruments?" Rose asked.
"Sure. I'm still disappointed that Liia didn't sing, but sure." Jay took out his phone and opened up the piano app.
"Welp, my drums–and cello–are in the trunk of the bus, so I currently only have my drumsticks," Nathan laughed, holding the two drumsticks up. He tapped the table in a catchy tune, "But they can work."
Charlie nodded as she watched Nathan tapping the table. "How about Rose sings, I play guitar and Nathan will do his my-cello-and-drums-are-in-the-back-so-I'll-tap-the-table thing." She smiled, strumming a few strings on her old guitar.
Roselen smiled. "Okay, I'm all for it."
“Works for me,” Liia clapped twice. “Yay!”
"Sounds easy." Ezra said. "Much easier than I thought."
(Sorry @hope)
"It is," She said, "It's only hard if you make it seem hard.
Nathan laughed, but put up two thumbs-up. "Coolio, count me in!"
Jay chuckled. "Coolio?" He shook his head in disappointment.
"Yes, coolio," Nathan laughed again. "So what kinda beat are we going for?"
“Something like this,” Liia said, demonstrating by tapping the seat back.
Jay chuckled. "Coolio?" He shook his head in disappointment.
"How about cool beans." Charlie added on. "That's another cringy catchphrase for you."
"Don't encourage him." Jay told them, laughing.
"Fine, that beat is totally rad then," Nathan added on.
"Aw shucks, he beat me to the word." Charlie replied, chuckling lightly as she smiled.
"Gosh Darn it I was gonna say that!" Rose popped in.
“Okay, okay, we get it,” Liia said, laughing. “But I’ve just got to say, the view from my window is swell.”
"God almighty this is getting intense! Will these ever stop?" Rose giggled.
"I don't know, but I'm definitely feeling groovy." Nathan laughed at their conversation that was basically, well, he didn't even know where it was going.
"Aren't our words just the bee's knees, Jay?" Charlie asked, looking up at him as she started to strum her guitar again.
Jay played along. "*Great googly moogly, they sure are!"
"I like your thinking. They're the cat's pajamas." Charlie replied, chuckling lightly as she leaned back in her seat. She started to wonder how long they had been on the road for. It seemed like it had only been a few minutes.
