“Yeah. I would like that,” Blue said holding his phone carefully as if it was gold after she put her number in. He slid it into his pocket and double checked it wouldn’t fall out. He made a small smile, “Thank you for- Well for listening to me. I guess I just really needed to tell someone and your the first person to find out about it.”

Vash gave him a smile back, "no problem. If you ever need anything, no matter how late call me. I'll rush over and help" she was glad he told someone, and even more glad that, that someone was her.

Blue hugged her once against, glad for her shoulder he could lean one, “I might be calling you a lot,” He laughed, and it was a good feeling just to be able to laugh about it.

She laughed at that, "well I'll always be ready then" she hugged him back "now! How does the food at this school taste? Maybe like poison? Or maybe it tastes like real food?" She joked.

“I didn’t really eat it much yesterday,” Blue confessed, “Want to go to get food with me?” The lunch line had finally died down, and Blue was feeling better enough to eat.

Vash jumped up, "prefect! We shall find out together then," she grabbed blues hand and headed for the line, ready for what ever horrid school food this place had to offer.

Blue quickly put on his glasses as they left the table, and blushed a little when she grabbed Blue’s hand. He got his food, some chips and a sandwich, and they walked back to the table. He sat down and started nibbling on the corner of his sandwich. It didn’t taste bad, but it didn’t taste good either.

She looked down at her food not really hungry. To much was on her mind. She couldn't stop thinking about blues stupid father, or her foster father. If she was lucky he hadn't already sent a report in to send her away. In the foster system she was known as a home hopper. Some kids got lucky and stayed in one or two really good homes there hole life, others, like vash had been to five homes already this year. And that was saying something if you where whisked away by the foster care system not long after birth. She went to touch her cheek where she had earlier been slapped and pushed her food away a little not really hungry. I can't screw this up, she thought. I just gotta stay here till I age out. Vash looked back up at blue, happy that for the first time in a long time she had a friend.

Blue saw when she touched her cheek, and felt guilt wash over him. He’d been so focused on himself… “What happened?” He asked with concern etching his every feature.

"Oh this? Ha, yeah I ran into a wall really hard this morning," the lie escaped her lips before she could stop her self. She didn't want anyone to know, especially not blue. She trusted him yes, but she didn't want to risk getting whisked away once again.

“Oh,” Blue laughed it off, “l guess we’re matching then,” Blue said, touching his own bruise. Had it something to do with the strange tattoo he got in the Ferris wheel? If Vash had a chance to get hurt because of him… Maybe it was just a coincidence…

He's cute when he laughs vash thought to herself, "I guess so" it was wrong to joke about it but it seemed kinda funny. matching bruises. She thought, How strange.

Blue munched on his sandwich, and actually ended up eating all of it today. He smiled at Vash. He was glad he could hang out with her like this, he made him feel more welcome. He hadn’t even realized he’d been staring.

"What are you looking at?" Vash laughed as she pushed her food around its plate. Gosh I hope he's okay she thought.

“Oh! I -um- well I was looking at you,” Blue confessed shyly, heat rising to his face. Gosh, she was beautiful even with that bruise on her face, “I -um- you’re really pretty,” He blurted before he could think. Once he said the words he face went a deep shade of red.

Vash couldn't help but laugh, "thanks, you're not to bad looking yourself either."

"Well…..I've always wanted to try a soft pretzel." He said thoughtfully

"You've never had a soft pretzel?" Ash almost shouted at him, her eyes widening in shock.

Blue’s eyes widened in shock and joy, “Really? I- uh- I- thank you.” He tongue was twisted like a pretzel.

"Well…..I've always wanted to try a soft pretzel." He said thoughtfully

"You've never had a soft pretzel?" Ash almost shouted at him, her eyes widening in shock.

“I’ve never wanted to ruin the taste of regular pretzelsz.” He said defensivly

"How would that ruin the taste of regular pretzels? They taste the same." She shot back.

“Well I wouldn’t know that! I haven’t even had one!” He said annoyed

"Then that's what we're doing next. I'm going to show you what you've been missing out on." Ash stated as she got off the ride and once again grabbed Liam's arm to drag him to their next destination.

His eyes widened in shock as he ran with her

Ash looked behind her at Liam laughed. "Why do you look so scared?" She asked as she slowed down a little, "I don't bite."

“I’m not so sure.” He stated. Then he laughed “do you go to the high school near here?”

"Okay fine, I don't bite too hard." Ash laughed along with Liam. "And yeah, I do. Do you go there too?"

“I’m starting there on Monday”

"Did you just move here?"

He shook his head “I was just homeschooled. Mom was fed up with me waking up at 11:00 everyday so now I’m forced to go.”

"I guess that makes sense. Was your brother homeschooled then too?"
