Avengers Second Generation {CLOSED}

“Can I at least lurk in the background?” Meg asked, only half-joking.

Kelly pulled out her sling ring. She needed to convince them. "Listen, if he does anything, I'll send him straight into the Sun," she promised, showing them the ring. (Do they know what a sling ring is?)

Meg’s eyes widened at the sight of the ring. She sighed. “Fine. But if anything happens, you are yelling for me.”

"Ok, ok!" Kelly held her hands up. "Wait, what are we going to tell our parents?"

Meg smiled and then realized that Kelly was serious. “Are you kidding? My dad would freak out.”

"I mean like, why aren't we going to see Vision and Wanda?"

Elizabeth, feeling awkward had walked to the very back of the helli(Thing)

"Eliza-" Kelly began but was caught off guard by a splendid pain in her side. She gasped but still got up. She didn't want her friends to know that what she thought would happen happened. "Eliza, don't go," Kelly insisted.

“What was that?” Meg questioned. “Kelly, why did you gasp?”

"Nothing, I… JUST REMEMBERED SOMETHING!" Kelly fake exclaimed. (She makes it convincing tho. My bean child is getting better.)

“Okay, okay,” Meg said, raising her hands defensively. “Jeez.”

(She's not yelling at her, she's just like "A-ha!" exclaiming. Kinda.)

(Kelly is my precious bean child that can't lie to save her life. She only lies to ruin it.)

Kerenza looks confused. "Kelly…what happened?"

"I'm fine, I just remembered something, that's all. I'm fine."

Kerenza shakes her head, hugging her friend. "Kelly, can I talk to…? Privately please?"

"Sure," Kelly says through gritted teeth. Kerenza's hand brushed her side, sending explosive waves of pain coursing through her body.

“You are displaying all of the usual signs of extreme pain, Kelly,” Meg muttered. “What’s wrong?”

"Come here…" Kerenza lead her friends to a corner. "Ok. Kelly…I can tell that your lying…now…please tell me what's bothering you."

(Am I making her too much the center of attention?)

"I-I'm fine… ok, not," Kelly said. She gestured to her side. "Something happened when I was in the Astral form… please don't tell my dad," she followed up quickly.

“Kelly, we are going to Wanda and Vis right now,” Meg said, gently leading her to a Quinjet. “I will fly us there myself.”

Kerenza hugs her friend, very gently. "Kelly…can you please tell me what's bothering you? I can tell somethings wrong."

"Something-" she paused to wince, "went wrong when my Astral form returned to my body. I think that I was too far away."

Kerenza sighs. "Lift up your shirt…let me see…"

"No," Kelly immediately refused.

"Sorry," she whispered, realizing how harsh she sounded.
