Kerenza was pacing around her room, tired, but not able to sleep. She was too worried and high-strung.

Kelly lay in bed, her spirits dragged down by the bubble of worry sinking in her chest. Her breaths were heavy tonight.

Castor sent a breeze to his first victim of the night: Meg. Listen, I just want to talk.

(Don't let this dieeeeee, Meg, pls respond or do something…)

(She'll be back…I think…I might be gone during the summer though…I'll try to be back.)

Kerenza stands. She can't sleep…she wanted to see if anyone else was awake. She walked over to Kelly's room, knocking on the door gently.

Kelly heard someone knock on her door. "Come in," she said, forcing her voice not to shake.

Kerenza opens the door, peeking her head inside. "Hey Kel…how you doing…?" She walks in, sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Good… Good enough." Kelly sat on her hands so Kerenza couldn't tell that they were shaking. She thought of her dad and bit her lip.

Kerenza nods, but isn't convinced. She rests her head on Kelly's shoulder. "Can you please tell me what's wrong? I only want to help…"

Kelly leans her head slightly on Kerenza's. "I know, and that's why I can't tell you. I hate seeing other people pay for my stupid mistakes. I can't stand it. I want to tell you, but I don't want to hurt you."

Kerenza shakes her head. "Kelly…please…it won't hurt to tell me…I promise you ok? I won't let anything happen to you or the others." She closes her eyes, sighing, as a tear falls from her face onto Kelly's shoulders.

(I'm not trying to be rude, but I'm having Kelly continuously deny her so that when Castor comes, Kerenza will be entirely desperate to help her. Okie?)

(That makes sense, but I'm confused…because after a while, Kerenza is going to go back to her room before Castor goes to meet her. Nevermind…I understand…give me a min….still half asleep sorry…)

Kerenza sighs, whimpering. "Of course….Sorry Kelly." She want so much to help, she would take any way, any promise, or anything, just to help her best friend.

"I'm sorry. You're too important to me to get hurt," Kelly said as she hugged her friend tightly. A tear slid into Kerenza's hair.

"Of…course…" Kerenza hugs her friend back. I will find a way to help her… A single tear falls into Kelly's shoulder. She holds her friend, crying, thinking about her past.

"Please understand," Kelly whispered.
(Turtle needs to respond or should Kerenza be first?)

"Of course I understand Kelly…I know what's it like to have forbidden relationships." She whispers in her friends ear.

(Wait, she's not talking about their friendship, is she?)

(No, she was talking about when she was dating Marcos, Magnetos son.)

Kelly nodded softly. She pulled away from the hug and wiped fiercely at her eyes, laughing a little. "I'm sorry, when I have so much pressure in me, I have to laugh to let out," she explained, before cry-laughing again.

Kerenza nods, a small smile on her face. "Of course…I draw my feelings all the time…maybe you should come see my drawings sometimes…"

"I'd love to," Kelly assured her friend genuinely.

Kerenza nods and giggles ever so slightly. "Did I ever tell you your amazing…?" She then stands. "I should let you rest…"
