Lilly grabbed her backpack and patted down her hair before grabbing her skateboard. Pushing off, she whizzed past her neighborhood and to school, running late.

Acacia stepped out of the car and walked into the school building. She couldn't stop her parents from using their personal driver to drive her to school. She walked in and looked for her other friends before sitting down at an empty table. She was normally the first one there anyway.

Kai stood outside the school, leaning against a lamppost and smoking a cigarette unhurriedly. She always liked watching other students scramble to not be late.

Lilly saw Kai outsode and waved before running inside and sorting down at her desk just as the hell rang.

Acacia walked into class and sat down. She could feel the eyes on her, before they quickly glanced away. She let out a small sigh through her nose as she took out her stuff with the bell ringing.

Laura was at her locker when someone behind her yanked on her backpack. She stumbled backwards and heard a familiar laugh and voice. "Hey, bitch."
Laura shut her locker quickly and whipped around. "G-Go away, T-Taylor…"
Taylor laughed again. "Yeah, no." She grabbed Laura's notebook out of her hands and started to look through it. "Oh, is this a new one?"
"T-Taylor, st-stop…"
"T-Taylor, st-stop," Taylor mimicked.

Kai made her way inside, cigarette still lit, and raised an eyebrow at the sight by the lockers. She called out as she approached, a wicked smile on her face. "Problem?"

Lilly walked into the gym after changing and smirked. They were playing lacrosse and she was ready to kick some ass

Taylor's head snapped up, and her eyes widened. "No," she said quickly.

"You sure? Sure looked like it." Kai draped an arm around Taylor's shoulders and squeezed in what would look like a friendly gesture to anyone else. "Why dontcha give her back the book, and you and I wont have to have a little…talk."

Taylor quickly shoved the journal into Laura's hands. "Take it. All your ideas are lame anyway…"
She slipped out of Kai's grasp and hurried away.

Kai watched her go before turning to Laura, a genuinely soft, if small, smile on her face. "You alright?"

"Y-Yeah…" she said shakily.

"Come on, I'll walk with you. What class d'ya got next?"

"F-French," she stammered.

"Alright." Kai gestured to Laura's locker. "Grab your stuff. I'm not actually planning on going to class, so take all the time ya need."

"Uh, um, why don't you go to class?" she asked quietly, turning to open her locker.
