"That's good to know," Kenzie chuckled. "I'm glad you're cleanliness while we were dating and engaged wasn't just to win me over."

Hunter paused for a second.
"If it was just to win you over…" he started carefully. "Did it work?"
"Well, gee, I don't know… I mean, who just married you if it wasn't me?" Kenzie laughed.
Hunter shook his head, fighting back a laugh.
“No, I mean, before we got married,” he elaborated. “My cleanliness… was that a factor in you liking me, or was it just because I’m flawlessly awesome and you couldn’t help but fall for me?”
"Well, I think it certainly helped that you weren't a slob," Kenzie said with a shrug. "But I fell for you because of your personality… And your looks might have helped…"
Hunter grinned.
“I am pretty handsome, aren’t I?” He boasted confidently before shaking his head. He fell silent before opening his mouth again. “I love your eyes. I love the way they sparkle when you’re happy or excited. I want to preserve that sparkle in your eyes the best I can.”
Kenzie blushed and looked down, biting her lip at the compliment.
"Um… Thanks… I'm sure you will. I don't think I could ever be unhappy with you," she said softly, glancing back up at him through her eyelashes.
Hunter forced himself to look ahead.
"I sure hope so," he murmured in reply. "I don't want Willow and Leo to beat my insides out of me."
Kenzie let out a light laugh, her cheeks still coated with red.
"They're pretty special, aren't they? And engaged, now! I still can't believe that you didn't tell me sooner," she said, shooting him a feigned accusatory glance.
Hunter smiled apologetically.
"Leo made me promise not to tell anyone," he replied, shrugging. "I told him it would be better if you were involved because you would make sure the bouquet fell in her hands, but I guess he was too nervous."
"I suppose that makes sense. Hm, I guess you're off the hook for this one, then," Kenzie teased, playfully poking him in the side. "How much longer till we're home?"
Hunter grabbed Kenzie's hand and kissed it lightly.
"We're almost there," he promised.
Kenzie smiled at the kiss. "Okay. I can't wait to finally stay in our house… Honestly, I still can't believe we're married, now…"
Hunter finally stopped his car in front of a house and grinned.
"I can't believe it, either," he said. "But I'm excited to spend the rest of my life with you. And to start a family, of course. And we're here!"
"I love this house. It's perfect," Kenzie sighed as she unbuckled her seatbelt and moved to get out.
(Do you have a picture of it with you? I can't open Pinterest right now.)
Hunter followed her out, humming in agreement.
"It'll be large for the both of us," he said quietly, his voice suggestive. "Would be livelier if we had tiny Huntzie babies running around."
(Nope, I don't… I should just save all the pics we use. Lol.)
Kenzie blushed and bit her lip, nodding slowly. "That's true… But unfortunately for you, you're tired so we can't get started on that."
(Me, too ): )
"I don't think I'll be tired enough for that," he responded cheekily. "But we'll postpone that for later because my beautiful wife has been up since morning and has been wearing that exhausting, albeit beautiful, dress since morning."
Kenzie smiled through her very deep blush. "I'm not sure if I'm too tired for that, either…"
Hunter smirked.
"So what you're trying to say is that you're willing," he grinned, walking over to Kenzie and scooping her up in his arms.
"…Yes," Kenzie answered, looking into his eyes, her own alight with a bit of hope.
(Oh my God, Kenzie! I'm squealing!!!)
Hunter smirked.
"Your wish is my command, M'lady," Hunter started walking towards their house. "No take-backs now!"
(XD Lol.)
"I wasn't planning on it," Kenzie murmured, chewing on her lip anxiously.
Hunter couldn't believe what was coming out of Kenzie's mouth, but he wasn't complaining. Why would he?
Hunter carried Kenzie to their new house and fished out the keys, refusing to put Kenzie down. He opened the door and finally stepped inside, an ordeal that would have taken less than a second rather than ten minutes had Hunter not been stubborn.
You seriously just said all of that?!? Holy crap, girl…
"Carrying me across the threshold, how romantic," Kenzie chuckled as they finally got inside.
Hunter grinned at her.
"You know me," he shrugged. "I'm a romantic person."
(Shalalala-skipping.)
Kenzie woke up the next morning to an alarm sounding annoyingly, and she rolled over to bury her head under a pillow with a groan.
Hunter tightened his grip on Kenzie, resting his head on her back.
"Shut that thing off, Kenzie…" he murmured sleepily.
"Can't see it. You do it," Kenzie mumbled into the pillow.
"It's on your side, Kenzie," Hunter grumbled.
