Hunter’s phone buzzed as he was driving. Not one to text while he drove, Hunter decided to check after he got home.
He unlocked the door and stepped inside, hoping to see Kenzie.
“Kenz?” he called out. “I’m home.”
When he received no response, he felt disappointed. Fishing out his phone, he finally checked the message that he received. It was Kenzie. Grinning, he chose to call.
Kenzie was just finishing up packing some things into a bag when her phone rang. Pulling it out of her pocket, she saw Hunter's name on the screen and smiled.
"Hey! How was class?" she asked, answering her phone.

“Boring,” Hunter replied. “I felt extremely bored. And sleepy. I don’t share any classes with Leo on Thursdays, so it gets lonely without the idiot blabbering. Just don’t tell him that; he already has an oversized ego. Anyway, how was your day at home?”

Kenzie smiled, setting her phone on the floor and putting it on speakerphone so that she could get the few other things she needed.
"Yes, it is a question. I mean, I already knew the answer to it, but it was a question," she joked.
