Hunter was almost glad as he pulled his arm away, and stuck her arms to her sides. Too late, she realized that she was wearing his sweatshirt, but she couldn’t do anything about that now.

Kye lead her down a dark tunnel. The only light coming from his torch. Then he brought them to a stop, and looked back at her. "I understand that you aren't a huge fan of caves, and I don't expect you to like them just because I do. But I just want to show you another side to a cave, that most people aren't willing to see because they're afraid of what might be down here. Would you like to know why I prefer being in caves?"
Hunter stared at him, standing in the shadows. She nodded slowly. “I guess.”
Hunter hesitated. She trusted him, yes, but… she sighed. Physical contact. She would never get used to it. She slowly reached out and grabbed his hand.
She followed, chewing her lip nervously as the torch went out. She was glad, thoug, that the darkness hid her expression.
As they continued, something began to hum in the caves around them, and Kye brought them to a stop. The hum continued and sounded like a song. A light breeze blew past them. Kye smiled but knew Hunter couldn't see him. "Watch this," he whispered. Then he tapped his foot on the ground. Light plumed out under his foot in the rocks, and disappeared.
She gave a slight gasp of awe. “What was that?”
"I haven't ever figured that out," Kye whispered. "But…" he stamped his foot harder and a bluish colored light plumed out around them. "I found years back while I was exploring a cave, that when you walk a cave in complete darkness, and you don't talk. A humming starts and once you hear that, if you hit the rocks they light up."
“Weird,” she breathed, trailing her hand along the wall.
Hunter followed him. The misgiving she has had befor seemed to melt away as she ran her hands along the wall, watching the glow trail behind her fingers.
"Can you hear it?" he asked coming to a stop some feet down the cave. "The water?" In the silence water could be heard, it sounded like a water fall. The humming continued and slowly turned into a song that the cave was singing. A few bat squeaks could be heard, and Kye pointed up at the ceiling. Above them glow worms had created beautiful pictures across the ceiling. One actually looked like a girl holding a bow drawn back, and not far from her was a deer. "I think the glow worms know you," in the dim light Kye smiled as he looked at Hunter. "Come on let's go see that waterfall."
Hunter stared around. She hated to admit it, butt it was beautiful. She was astonished that things like this could exist somewhere so horrible. Then again, she didn’t go underground a lot. Maybe she should.
“Lead the way,” she said.
He grinned and began traversing the cave again taking Hunter through what he knew as his world. A place that so many people seemed to fear and hate, all because they didn't understand it. But he knew that some things about the cave was dangerous and there were things that were horrible living down in caves.
They came around a corner to reveal a huge open room. It was lit by the walls, glowing a greenish blue, and the ceiling by the glow worms looking like a full starry sky. Spanning most of the room was a lake filled by a waterfall at the back of the room. The lake itself was surprisingly still for having a waterfall pouring into it. But it reflected the glow worms and looked like glass.
“Holy shit,” she breathed, staring around.
"It's pretty cool isn't it?" Kye looked around and walked into the room. "Even I never knew that a place like this existed in a cave. I've never seen anything like this and quite honestly I wish there were more places like this. It's a good place to go to think and escape." He walked over to the water's edge and gently placed his finger on the water surface. A tiny ripple floated out around it and disappeared.
“It’s amazing,” Hunter breathed. She brushed her hair from her face and sat down next to him, gaze around at everything. Her bright blue eyes tinted from the light of the gloworms, and cast colored shadows on the walls of the cavern.
“Well,” Hunter said slowly, “We need to find Chaos. And see if Order is strong enough to fight him.”
She looked blankly at him. “I have no idea. I’ve never been able to have time to myself, so I’d be clueless.”
Hunter laughed and excepted his hand, letting him help her up. She seemed to be a lot happier now. “And I would like to tear his limbs from his body and slice them into tiny pieces before roasting every nerve in his body and then grinding him into powder and throwing him into the ocean.”
She didn’t seem to notice. “If you can,” she said with a small laugh. “I might let you hold one of his severed limbs, if you’re good.”
"I could always just trap him in a force field," Kye suggested. "They're virtually impossible to break using anything but shear strength enough to split the moon in half four times over. And any magic used on them will only make them even harder to break. Then I could throw him into space."
Hunter shrugged. “That could work.” Then she frowned. “But I thought you had no magic.”
