(Sounds good!)

@m1dn1g7t_ri0ts_13

(Ok. I'll keep going.)
Yuki walked up to Kodiak's cell. "What are you doing here?", he asked, his voice shaking. "I'm getting you out.", I replied. He started to protest, but I just yelled at him. I twisted the lock and broke it. "It's only a matter of time before an alarm sounds. You must get out now." He didn't move. "You shouldn't have done that." I glare at him. "Get out of here now. I honestly thought you cared about your life." He finally walked over to the cell door, though he didn't walk out. "You're putting your life in danger. Just leave me."
"I'm not leaving you. You're going to die in the gladiator battle. I can't believe you've already given up."
"Promise you won't die?", Kodiak's asked me. I nodded. A lie. He ran out.

@SincereBeastie

(Noice.)
Armand could faintly hear the alarms sounding floors below, though he ignored it and continued to smile. Harrison's device blipped. "What is it?" she'd growl a little. Then listening. "Send guards down there immediately! Take care of whatever the Hell is going on. Kodiak? Wha-God Damnit!" She slammed the device down on her desk, then slammed her palm down, an icy glare piercing Armand. "I just wanted to talk to you about all of these changes you've been-"
"I KNOW you let the girl go, Armand." She cut him off. He furrowed his brows.
"She would have died in combat training, with the regimen you have. She didn't come-"
"I Don't care! I gave you an order, directly and you disobeyed, heck, refused! And now Kodiak is out. I'm blaming you for that."
Armand glared back at her with a challenge. "What are you going to do, kill me?" Harrison only smirked.

"Commander Nyir;" She spat into the mic, "Set up the arena. We're pushing up the battle."

@WriteOutofTime

Nyir stared at herself in the mirror. She looked even more exhausted than she felt. Eyes ringed with darkness, lips drawn, shoulders taught. A soldier. Nothing more. Sighing, she pressed her forehead against the mirror, relishing in the coolness of the glass against her skin.

"Commander Nyir," rang out suddenly, "set up the arena. We're pushing up the battle."

So, something had not gone to plan. Armand had definitely done something –something stupid. Like he always did. He was such a sap. Nyir pushed herself away from the mirror, taking one last look before she went to follow Harris' command. Armand had called her pretty.

"Pretty," she snorted, baring her teeth at her reflection. Then she headed down the halls, the sound of her boots echoing against the floors.

Rowan didn't know what to make of the blaring alarms, but she was certain they had to do with Yuki. But where could she have gone? Rowan was reluctant to get out of bed but did so anyways, stumbling out of her cell. "Armand?" She called out weakly, entering his office. No one was there. With a defeated sigh she retrevied her blanket and curled up in Armand's comfy office chair, awaiting the return of either Yuki or Armand, himself.

@m1dn1g7t_ri0ts_13

Yuki raced down the halls. The alarm sounded, its loud sound deafening. Yuki knew eventually she would die… either by an enemy or herself. I am a lier. I will not make it out of this compound alive. She turned to a dark hallway. One of the doors was open and she ran into it. The room was filled with weapons. It was the perfect place to hide. She crouched into a corner and sat unmoving.

@SincereBeastie

"All officers to the arena immediately. Disband, gather all of the prisoners in custody, and move to the arena." Harrison would announce, pressing a button on her desk to call security. Two guards came in and gripped him by his arms; making his right arm ache a little bit. "My, won't you be a little less rough? Do you think I'm capable of escaping you big burly men?"
"Are you ready to die, Armand?" Harrison would ask in a slightly annoyed tone as they practically carried him down the hallways to the arena.
"Oh, I'd say I'm rather excited~" Armand would watch her with whirring golden eyes, deepening into a mental break. "I'm going to make it as hard for you to watch as possible.." He'd lick his lips as he trembled a little. "I'm going to cry out for you like I did all those years ago." He'd chuckle, gritting his teeth as he was tossed to the pavement by the guards.
Harrison knelt down in front of him and looked into his eyes. "Wow, you're really broken. I should have put you down months ago." Who is this person?? his thoughts cried What happened?!
"I was defective at the get-go.." He'd grumble.

@SincereBeastie

(Also Nyir aweee)

@WriteOutofTime

Nyir wasn't about to oversee the arena herself. It was a hellhole. The bloodstains were enough to churn anyone's stomach. Instead, she backtracked, letting her lackeys set things up while she confronted Harris. She wasn't about to let Harris do anything and everything she wanted. Not without questioning it, at least.

"Madame President?" Nyir said as she stepped out of the elevator and into her office.

@SincereBeastie

(Am I the president now? X3)

@WriteOutofTime

(well you seem to be doing a good job so why not? lol)

@SincereBeastie

(ahaha oki dokie)
Harrison would visibly sigh. "Yes, Commander Nyir. Make it quick, please." The woman took a breath and shook herself out a little bit; trying not to let her annoyance affect her. She was searching anxiously through a device, scanning all of the cameras as soldiers and guards cleared the halls and filed into the arena.

@WriteOutofTime

"Can I ask what benefit there is to forcing Dr. Watt to fight?" she asked, her voice calm, her face a mask. "It seems pointless. If you don't mind me saying."

@SincereBeastie

(OMG somehow I didn't see this! Sorry!!)

@SincereBeastie

"Pointless?" She'd force a smile. "He's been just about as conniving as Kodiak, Nyir." She shook her head, chuckling at her. "He's a manipulative lying traitor just as much as Kodiak. Only more manipulative. And we can't exile him. He's much too smart to just.. brush off." She'd pace a little in no particular direction, giving Nyir her side. "But he's completely lost it, Nyir. Didn't you see it? Don't you see the bloodlust in his eyes? He's just a shell any longer." Another chuckle, waiting to see if she needed to explain further.

@WriteOutofTime

Nyir's eyebrow twitched. "I see bloodlust in someone's eyes, but not his. Kodiak was wrong to deceive us, but Armand –Dr. Watt was not wrong in wanting to save a young girl's life."

@SincereBeastie

Harrison narrowed her eyes a bit. "Watch your tongue, girl." venom dripping from her words. "I also know that he was planning on having his body mutilated in order to free Kodiak. He's a treasonous SOB. Can you believe he'd put her through the pain and suffering of the dumb solution he made? I asked for military weapons, not monsters. But when I accept his insolence and request he change her custody into the battalion, he turns around and let's the brat go." Harrison marched up to Nyir and looked at her closely. "I do hope you understand, Nyir. I can't afford someone like him being a loose canon in my Society." She added, "And I wouldn't be able to accept someone like you doing that either."

@WriteOutofTime

"Dr. Watt has many shortcomings. But compassion?" Nyir narrowed her eyes. "That's not a shortcoming. You need his intelligence and his ability. You'd throw all that away because he got sentimental?"

@SincereBeastie

"Commander." She'd raise her voice a bit. "It would be in your best interest to stop this now. He's unstable and dangerous." She walked past Nyir, stopping in the doorway with her back turned. "It would be best if you negated and warm feelings you have towards this man; he's bound to manipulate you like he has many others. I'd hate to lose one of my best commanders along with him." She left, signalling an end to the conversation. Attendance was being called from the arena, echoing through the speakers on the walls.

@WriteOutofTime

Nyir stood still for a long while. Her teeth clenched. Then she turned and headed for the arena, her stomach churning at the thought. If things went south…well, she wouldn't let this end the way Harris thought it would.

@m1dn1g7t_ri0ts_13

Yuki stashed a few knives from the room of weapons. The room was dimly lit with only one hanging light bulb. It looked more like an attic from sixty years ago than a high-tech weapon room, except for the large variety of guns and knives. The walls were made of wood. Yuki took note that the room could easily be set fire to. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to set fire to it. Yuki took as many weapons as she could and searched her pocket for a match.

Rowan shivered slightly trying to listen to the loud speakers blasting through the halls. She couldn't even understand what was going on until two soldiers came in, one tossing Rowan over his shoulder and roughly jostling her around whenever she attempted to squirm away. For the moment she decided to go limp and observe her surroundings.

@SincereBeastie

(Also Idk who's fighin'? Idk is Petree here any longer?)

@m1dn1g7t_ri0ts_13

(We still have Rowan if she wants to fight. Possibly Yuki but she'd probably kill Armand in the arena.)

@m1dn1g7t_ri0ts_13

Yuki scraped the match against the wall. After a few tries, it caught on fire. Yuki buried it in a wooden box full of small explosives and ran. Once she got a reasonable distance away, she heard the explosion.

@wake-read-eat-sleep

(Hey, I can fight! When is it? Wait, is Petree in the arena now? Harrison said "gather all prisoners"… petree's been in a cell the past five pages)

@SincereBeastie

(Yeah, so if you want Petree to fight Armand she can have been transferred to an 'arena cell' I suppose and is waiting for the match to start. I can set up the scene?)

@wake-read-eat-sleep

(Sure.)

@SincereBeastie

After the president's conversation with Nyir, she returned to the control room of the arena, ready to speak over microphone to the entire complex. "Good afternoon, members and guests of the Smoke Society." She started. Armand was picked up roughly from the cement, hauled to a small cage in the near center of the arena, where they had him stand until it would start. He could see everyone being seated, and could hear the announcements clearly as Harrison spoke them. He looked across to him, to see his recent patient, Petree in a similarly small cell across from him. He nodded to her, with a bit of a sigh.
"Rebels have been killing our members and forcing our hands for years up to this point. In this battle, we recognize their barbaric ways, and honor those who have become traitorous a chance to fight for themselves in the arena. The fight continues until one opponent is dead; the other will be released without hesitation."

@wake-read-eat-sleep

Petree looked at Armand. He nodded at her.
"Rebels have been killing our members and forcing our hands for years up to this point. In this battle, we recognize their barbaric ways, and honor those who have become traitorous a chance to fight for themselves in the arena. The fight continues until one opponent is dead; the other will be released without hesitation." The loudspeaker came on.
She clenched her fist, playing a scene where Harrison was getting killed over and over with some invisible fist in her head. She shot a look at Armand, thinking,
I can't kill him… he saved Rowan like he was supposed to… and countinued to think that for another few minutes until she totally lost it and let out a frustrated scream.
