“Impressive,” Eli said, smiling brightly. “Can you read anything else?”
(Lmao alrighty.)
"Maybe half of this," she said, squinting. "Again, they're all stories. All able to be found on the Internet in English. Except… this one, maybe. At least, I haven't seen it before."

“Can you read it?” Eli asked, moving closer to it and running his fingers over the dusty writing.
"It's some creepy legend. Well, it's a cool legend. Got all that magic and those divine beings. Something about a rock, or maybe a statue? that gives you powers from the gods."
"I love creepy legends," Rainy commented, still tracing the carvings. "Where does it say the rock/statue/whatever is?"
"In this temple… somewhere. Doesn't get much more specific besides 'deep down, scary place'… It sounds cooler I swear."

“In the temple? Man, if all of that power stuff was real, that’d be awesome,” Eli wondered aloud.
"It so would. You guys wanna try and find it?"

“Are we even sure that it’s real?” Eli questioned, his brow arched.
"Nope. But it's funner to explore if we've got an idea on what to do!"
Pocky laughed. "I'm in for sure!" she said.
"Me too," Rainy agreed. "Sounds just crazy enough to be fun."
"Which way should we go?" Pocky asked.
Maya took a picture of the legend and peered at it. “Well, first, down.”
Rainy waved her white cane dramatically. "Lead the way, Indiana Jones!"
She grinned nd started going down another set of stairs.
Pocky laughed, and walked by Rainy.
"Man, it's cold in here," Rainy observed, shivering a little. "And stale." She sneezed.
“Did you bring a jacket?”
Rainy turned her blind gaze towards Maya. "It's like, a hundred degrees outside." She laughed, shrugging her shoulders. "I didn't expect to boldly go where no man has gone…in probably hundreds of years."
“Fair point,” she laughed. “Well, looks like we’re going to bump into traps too. Some old tomb of the gods… wait no I read that wrong. Temple. Temple of the gods.”
"Traps?" Rainy squeaked, squeezing Eli's arm tightly. "I hope nothing too dangerous."
“This place is designed to keep people out, so who knows?”
Rainy nodded, trying to look brave. "Well, we can take it. We'll be fine!"
“We’ll be fine,” Maya echoed.

“Hopefully,” Eli said, now checking the ground in front of him and Rainy yo make sure they didn’t trip anything.
“Is there service down here?” She checked. “Of course not.”
"Why would there be service?" Pocky asked playfully. Suddenly she stepped on something, and stumbled a bit. A loud creaking noise sounded is the distance. "Well shoot." she muttered.
“That doesn’t sound good,” Maya said, pulling Pocky against the wall. A large stone rolled down the hall, picking speed up as it moved. “We should probably run now!”
