Fantasy Kingdom (Open to joining)

Her horse raced past Felix's, running up towards the hillside.

Felix pet the horse's side, threading his fingers through it's hair and willing it to go faster. It surpassed Caelum's. "HAHAHAHA!"

"Race you to the tree!" Caelum called out, motioning towards the old oak tree. When they were younger, Felix and Caelum would always race. Almost everything that did was a competition. She sat up on her horse, barely staying in line with Felix's.

Felix laughed, "I'm gonna beat you Caelum!" his blond hair raced in the wind and his blue eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Never!" Caelum sped up, but Felix reached the tree before her.

Felix hopped off and smiled, "I beat you."

"Don't you always." Caelum sighed, dismounting her horse. "You've beat me since we were ten years old. I would also* practice riding every night to beat you."

"Sounds terrible. How much sleep did you even get?"

"Not a lot. . ." She sighed. "I wanted to beat you so bad."

"And I wanted to," kiss, "beat you in hand-to-foot combat so bad."

"Too bad you'll never get to." Caelum grinned, leaning against the oak tree behind her. Leaves fell all around them, one even falling on top of her head, but she didn't even notice it.

"How are you liking it here?" Caelum asked.

"It's nice." Felix smiled.

"You're a good guard, but let's see how you do when we spar later today." She teased. They hadn't seen each other for about two years, but Caelum had never stopped liking Felix.

Felix paled, "Please go easy on me."

"I'll never ever make it easy for you. . . but just this once I will." She replied, grinning.

"Thank you!" he said, relieved.

She laughed. "Did you like guarding for Sir Bastian?"

"He was…a challenge." Felix admitted, rubbing his neck. "But he's okay when you get to know him."

"A challenge?" She raised a brow at that.
