Fantasy Kingdom (Open to joining)

Welcome to the Kingdom of Aafne!
The nymph Queen Elysia rules over the land. She is just and kind to all those who live there. However, they don't know what happens behind the scenes. They don't know what happens at her palace, how these decisions are made, and the hardships that she endures.

So basically, this is a fantasy kingdom rp, as stated in the title. If you choose to join, you will be joining as a member of the Court. If you're not sure what that is or what the positions are, look it up.
Becuase this is a fantasy rp, you can be any species you want as long as you're not an animal. You can be a were(insert animal) but not just an animal. So you can be human, an elf, a fairy, fae whatever.
No one is king unless the queen (me) decides to marry anyone. Then he will be king consort.

Rules:
-Swearing is allowed but don't go overboard
-This is a fantasy/medieval rp, certain things are viewed as scandalous (such as an affair), but it's fine if it keeps up the drama
-Take dirty to private or just don't do it. There may innocent children who decide to join
-Be literate
-Third person only, please
-Keep the drama coming, but anything big please run by me (affair, pregnancy, death)
-Don't all be nobles or high status, be servants and maids as well

Appearance: Creamy skin, brown hair, green eyes, small, curvy, soft, delicate
Personality: Elyisa is a kind and just queen. She gets what needs to be done and does the best she can for her royal subjects. But just because she has a kind heart, does not mean that she isn't fierce and cruel when need be. She wouldn't have survived being a queen for long if she wasn't.
Backstory: Elysia had been primmed to be queen all her life. However, she became queen much earlier than expected, as her parents were murdered.

Name: Olympia Storm (sometimes goes by Ollie)

Species: Human, has healing abilities with limits. (The pain transfers onto her, and she can't heal herself.)
Sexuality: Pansexual
Position: Lady-in-waiting to the Queen, helps out whenever she can.
Appearance: Scrawny, platinum blonde hair, plain grey eyes, tiny. Around 5'0". Usually wears semi-plain dresses.
Personality: Quiet, jumpy, but funny and trusting if you get to know her. Not many friends.
Backstory: Used to be a maid for a rich man until he hit her, then she ran away. A maid from the castle found her, and brought her to the Queen.
Other: She usually is on her own, mind in a different world daydreaming, until someone wakes her up from it.

Backstory: She had a pretty average life, other than she was a princess to the elves. She had no tragic deaths. No abandonments.

Appearance: floppy white blond hair, ice-blue eyes, pale skin, tons of freckles, long legs, 5'10"
Personality: stubborn, EXTREMELY protective, doesn't like to hurt people, will die for his family.
Backstory: Felix was a farm boy and his parents wanted him to not just be a farm boy, so he was sent off at age 7 to be a guard. He has a twin sister that races horses and is a wild child.
Other: He likes horses, a lot.

Position: unknown to most of the kingdom, she is a princess amongst her species
Appearance: She has pale, elf-ish features; her hair has a distinctly blue-ish tint, and her eyes are amber, the color of leaves that fall into her stream.
Personality: She’s independent, and reclusive; constantly overshadowed by her siblings, younger and older
Backstory: develop
Other: She can survive nearly anything if she comes into contact with water during or immediately after the event.

Name: Caelum Cardoso (Name means Heavens/Sky) She can have nicknames if anyone wants to give her some.
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Species: Nephilim (Half human, half angel. They have longer lifespans, excel in air/light magic and are very attractive)

Position: One of the kingdom's best knights, the queen's guard

Appearance: Has a smaller figure. Dark hair that's past her shoulders. Her skin tone has an olive tone (From Italian Descent) Almond shaped, amber eyes. Has a scar running through her left eyebrow. There's a long scar on her back from when she used to have wings.

Personality: She's brave, independent and can be unnerving. But, she's very loyal to the ones she cares about, humorous, and adventurous

Backstory:Before, she had lived in a church, where the priests cut her wings off. Caelum had never had a home, but was adopted by a poor family with two other children. Eventually, she had worked her way up and become one of the kingdom's best knights. She became close friends with Thatcher and Felix, since they were all royal guards.

To say Queen Elysia hated corsets was an understatement. She was a forest nymph, used to wearing nothing but gauzy and flowing dresses. But as queen, when she made public appearances, she had to wear the tight, restricting corset along with layers and layers of petticoats. She hated it. But it was what she had to do, so she shoved aside her complaints and did not protest as the corset was pulled tighter.

Thayer tied up the corset, doing her best to work quickly. Afterwards, she brought over a petticoat /b/I’m assuming - Victorian era etiquette is not my forte// and slipped it over the Queen.

Caelum stood patiently outside Queen Elysia's room, her hand resting on the hilt of her sword by her side. She never left without it. It was quiet in the halls, the only noise from the servants walking hurriedly on the tiled floor. Caelum continued to stand guard, her posture straight and her amber eyes focused steadily on everything.

(Lol it's fine. It's a fantasy thing, so each species gas their own attire, but as queen, they look to her to wear Victorian clothing. But yes, this is Victorian etiquette since they're at court.)

She cleared her throat. "I think this is bug enough yes? I don't want trip and fall." She tried laugh but it came out more as a wheeze. It was hard to breath in what she was wearing. "Make up and hair. Hurry or I'll be late."

“Yes, your Highness.” Thayer quickly slipped the actual dress on, then did the Aueen’s hair and makeup. She passed her a mirror for inspection.

"Honestly, I don't know why I have to visit the kingdom once a month. It's freezing outside. And yet they expect me to pretend I'm not am ice cube and wave and smile and even talk a few if the wealthier villages." She looked at the mirror and nodded. "Thank you Thayer."

Caelum tried to stay still, but it was harder when she would rather be training. There was an upcoming battle against a kingdom further up north in the mountainous regions.

Ailin walked up the long lane leading to Queen Elysia’s palace, uncomfortably pulling on her heavy skirts. Her mother had sent her to accompany the Queen on her journey to the village, and had forced Ailin, a willowy dryad, into the heavy and restricting clothes of the humans.

The Queen stood. "Come Thayer, it's time to get going. If I'm late again, my advisors will strangle me." She teased. She walked out of the Queen's suite and nodded at her guard by the door.
