Dax followed Faye, coming out of the corner where he had been.
Lila followed Faye out the window. She pulled out her knife and was ready to fight whatever was out there.

Calixto stared at the concrete beneath him. Karina really was just as he thought. The metal was still too warm for him to tug at again with his hands. He leaned against the fence as he sat in defeat.

When the others were out, Faye jogged towards the commotion, watching the shadows closely for any Corsai. They were better to look at from afar.

“One second,” Ronan said quickly setting Calla down as he dived forward, skidding across the concrete as he grabbed onto the wooden violin. The Corsai hissed loudly, another clawed hand slashing at his arm. It ripped the fabric of his jacket, but didn’t slice into his skin. He scrambled backwards, clutching the instrument to his chest.
“Get your violin,” Avi said. “Hey, I’ve got you,”she said to Calla softly.
Lila looked at the street, "What is going on?"

Dax followed, hoping Faye's father wouldn't find out. If he did, he'd blame it on Dax and do who knows what.
"Who are you?" Calla reached out to touch the person's face as she hugged her flute close to her chest.

Faye slowed when she saw people in the street. Her body tensed up as she looked at the instruments. She hesitantly pulled out her phone and snapped a photo, the three coming up with dark smudges over their eyes. “Sunai,” she murmured, eyes growing wide with fear.

A flash of light caught Ronan’s attention. His head snapped up, looking at the three new arrivals. One of them had taken a photo. He jumped to his feet, approaching them. “Delete that, now,” he snapped, fingers gripping the violin.

“I’m Avi,” she said, gently leading Calla along with Ronan.
Lila calmly put the knife away. She slowly walked towards the Sunai, "I was worried it was going to be a Corsai attack."
Calla turned towards the sound of a flash, tilting her head. She reached up to touch her eyelids self-consciously. Why are there so many people?

Faye stuttered in response, taking a step backwards out of pure fright. She glanced at Dax and Lila, hoping they knew what to do. This was major to capture three Sunai on camera. She couldn’t give it up so easily.

“Doesn’t matter,” Ronan stated, looking at the woman who stepped forward. “I need that phone, now. I will not hesitate to use force.” His blue eyes narrowed sharply at the three, but he watched the large Malchai carefully.
Calla put her flute to her lips, looking up at Avi.

“Not yet, but be prepared,” she whispered to her, slowly reaching for her lyre as well.
"Faye delete the photo," Lila told her, "You don't want to anger a Sunai."

Faye watched as the Sunai reached out a hand for the phone, and she quickly handed it to him. She felt a bit angry that she had to give it up, but she wasn’t going to get killed for it.

Ronan looked at the phone for a moment, glaring at the photo before throwing it onto the ground, it smashing once it hit the pavement. He could hear a small gasp come from the human who had handed it to him, and he looked up, eyes sharp. “None of you will speak about this.”
