"You should've said something earlier." Oliver soothed, standing up and bending over to wrap Dove into his arms.
“How to Save A Life..” Remake Roleplay (read the description, please)
Natalie leaned against the door frame. She held up her wrist, showing Dove the special and unique bracelets on her arm. "Have you ever seen these before?" She asked. "They kind of show others what you've gone through. Blue means depression, purple means anxiety, grey means brain cancer…………………………" She softly listed the different colors. She was wearing blue, purple, and, surprise surprise, grey.
"You're not alone." She said, walking over and putting her hand on Dove's knee. "Let us help you." She pleaded softly.
"I'm sorry for making you guys worried." Dove wiped her eyes, "And, no, I have not seen those before, Dr. Tamara, ma'am."
Natalie smiled. "Just call me Natalie, or, Nat is fine too."
"Really Dr. Tamara, ma'am?" Dove's eyes widened.
Oliver pulled them both in for a hug at the same time, trying to take care of both of them.
(I have to go)
Natalie laughed, hugging Oliver back. "Yes Dove. I'm sixteen. Natalie or Nat is fine. Why don't the three of us stick together."
(I have to go)
(AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW WWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY)
(false alarm)
"I like that idea." Oliver murmured in agreement.
Dove sniffled, "Okay, Natalie." she turned towards Dr. Horne. "Thank you as well, Dr. Horne."
"My name's Oliver. Or Ollie. Or… call me whatever you want really. Try not to make it too offensive." He joked, showing off a childish smile.
Natalie nodded. "It's hard to face these things alone. It's scary too. No one should have to face it alone."
"Thanks." Dove smiled and then clicked her clicker, "It's a bit weird. A depressed psychologist."
"That's nothing." Natalie said with a small smile. "I'm a doctor with brain cancer. Well, with the possibility of having a relapse of brain cancer."
"I'm an anemic cardiologist. So I guess that's sort of ironic. Or I just tried to make a connection that's not really there." Oliver furrowed his eyebrows, lost in thought.
"My grandfather died from cancer." Dove stifled a sob, "At least, my adopted grandfather. Not that I adopted him! No, his kid, my dad, adopted me."
Dove touched Dr. Horne's arm, "You're taking iron supplements, right?"
"We'll be with you every step of the way from here on out." He gave Natalie and Dove meaningful looks.
"When I remember." He shrugged and yawned. "I forgot this morning, but I will tomorrow."
"Good." Dove pressed a pen to her cheek, "We should go eat."
"I'm all up for that." Oliver stood and stretched, his stomach growling.
Natalie nodded. "I know it's stupid, but," She put one hand in the air and one over her heart, somewhat playfully. "I swear to do everything in my power to help you two, and to never hurt you, intentional or otherwise."
"Sorry, Natalie. I only do pinky swears." Oliver stuck out his pinky giving the girls a playful smile.
Dove smiled, "Ditto." she grabbed a book and her lunch (packed by her dads) and waited for them by the door.
(edited, sh*# I forgot she has two gay parents)
Natalie locked pinkys with Oliver, laughing.
"Your mom packs you lunch! No fair! And ditto Natalie. Well not literally a ditto. Actually wait-" Oliver took out his phone, clicking through apps. "Yeah no Pokémon are here right now." He pocketed his phone again.
Natalie laughed harder. "You guys are histerical." She followed them out of the room.
