Arabella smiled at him, humming a soft tune as she was lead. Her eyes traveled across Asher’s face once or twice.
Asher opened the door to the house, taking off his shoes as he stepped inside.

She too removed her shoes before skipping over to Ashton and hugging him softly. “Would you like anything?”
Asher blinked, then hugged her back. "No, thank you." he replied with a soft smile.

“Okay. I was just making sure.” She hummed, burying her ace in his shirt and breathing in the smell of him.
"Alright." he closed his eyes, still hugging her gently.

“You smell good, Asher.” She purred, peeking up at him with a small blush.
He chuckled softly. "Why thank you." he replied with a soft laugh.

Arabella giggled softly and gently pulled away from him. She moved around the main room for a moment, looking between the direction of the kitchen and her art room. “Should I make cookies now? Or should I wait and paint?” She asked softly, more to herself than to the male she was married to.
Asher shrugged a little. "That's your choice." he replied, not seeming to realize that she wasn't quite speaking to him. He flopped down on the couch for a moment, staring at the ceiling.

Arabella glanced around him as he sat down on the couch, her eyes twinkling in mischief. She suddenly flopped down across his lap with a soft ‘oof’, giggling as she looked up at him from where she laid.

He let out a grunt, sitting up and looking down at her. "What are you doing?" he asked, laughing as he raised an eyebrow.

She flipped onto her back and shrugged, resting her head in his lap. “Being affectionate.”
He looked down at her, and ran a hand lightly through her hair. "Mhm. If you say so." he responded teasingly. "I think it's a trap."

She closed her eyes and smiled, loving the feeling of his fingers in her hair. “This isn’t a trap. I’m just laying here.” She grinned.
He kept petting her hair gently. "Mm. Are you sure?" he replied, still teasing.

“Of course!” She purred faintly, relaxing at his gentle pets. Truth be told she was trapping him there so she could get just a little more attention from him.
Arabella secretly worried that after today he would return to his cold self.
Asher smiled a little, chuckling. "Mm. Fine." He replied. He kept running his hands through her hair.

“That feels really good,” she murmured. Her love language was definitely touch and she showed it by rubbing gentle circles into his arm as he pet her.
He smiled lightly. "Good." He replied, and kept doing it.

Arabella yawned and stretched herself out some more. “You’re very comfy.”
Asher smiled lightly. "Uh…thanks." he replied.

She giggled softly and nodded. “Am I alright here? Do you need to do anything?” She asked despite her strong want to never move from the spot she was in.
He smiled. "Mhm. You're fine." he replied, still running a hand through her hair.

She yawned softly, closing her eyes once more. She was feeling really drowsy from all the social energy she had to expel that day. It was much more than she usually used.
