Darren laughed, insane was accurate. He waltzed around the house, unsure of what he should do but he was never bored and always managed to do something.
I Know Pride Month Was Four Days Ago But... (1 on 1) (Closed)
Hours later, the sound of keys locking into a door rung through the living space. Alistair opened the door and immediately closed the door behind him once he got inside, huffing.
Darren looked up from where he lay on the floor and turned the music down a little, "Bad day?"
"Does it fucking matter?" he grunted, throwing his bag on the couch. "So about not rebelling against the government today."
"Okay first off, if it didn't fucking matter to me… I would not have asked," Darren sat up, "Also you have peeked my interest in the government rebelling thing,"
"Officials at the school asked me about shit relating to a stowaway in our apartment," he mumbled. "If you're right about the whole government controlling our lives thing, guess there's your evidence."
“Woah buddy, you know he’s serious if you says the word government.” Darren jumped to his feet and turned the music off, “Stowaway?”
"Yeah, said someone 'reported' on seeing someone else enter into my apartment. Thought at first it was a burglar, but when you never came out they got suspicious and reported it." He scowled, sitting down. "Reported. Bullshit, no one lives on my floor."
Darren laughed, “They have eyes everywhere… what are we going to do? Do you think they’ll come and look around?”
"I don't know, but we need to either get out of here or find you somewhere to hide," he decided.
“Where would I even go if I hid?”
"I dunno. Hide somewhere in the apartment, break into an empty one. Don't rely on me for all the plans."
“Do you have an ID?” Darren said after looking around thoughtfully.
"Yes, why does it matter?" he asked.
"Is that how they identify you?"
"No, they use the chip, dum dum," he pointed out. "How long have you been away from this place?"
"Oh right, sorry just foggy brained. I can forge that…. let me see,"
"That's dandy and all, but you realized you'd literally have to insert the chip inside your arm, and wouldn't that give you away some how?"
"Show me your arm…. I think I could use a synthetic skin to put over it so it won't have to actually go in my skin."
"And what are you making this synthetic skin out of?" he asked suspiciously, pulling his arm to his chest.
“I don’t know… latex puddy probably, maybe rubber paints,”
"Yeah well, I don't have either of those things so can we stick to a simpler plan that doesn't involve me explaining why I have a new roommate?" he muttered, making a face.
“What’s your plan? I was gonna go in an empty apartment and con my way through.”
"I… that depends on if you can break into the an empty apartment."
“It’s not that hard, pick the lock, quick set up to look like I live there…”
