Michael takes a deep breath as he waited for the other to show. He was ready for a good day, after all it hadn't been good at home. He taps his lip, sighing quietly.

Learie (it’ll be explained later) appeared around the corner, looking this way and that. His black hair shimmered in the cafeteria lights and shone over his smooth caramel skin. He spotted Micheal and trotted over, beaming a bright smile.
“Hey Micheal!”

Michael looks up and beams. "Learie!" He stands to greet his friend and his childhood crush. "How are you? Sleep well?" He asks happily. He gazed over the other with glimmering blue eyes, his brown hair tousled all over his head.

Learie ran his hands through his hair and glanced around. “I suppose I did. Are you doing alright, Micheal?” He smiled and pulled his arms down, revealing the smoothly slicked back do.
