Max sighed in relief and opened the door, slowly walking out of the basement.

Alita followed him quietly and smiled, thinking about kissing Max again.

Max slowly walked towards the door, trying to be as quiet as possible.

Alita quietly shut the door behind her and continued to follow max, being as quiet as she could.

Max kept walking, glancing back every so often to see if Alita was following him.

Alita hoped that they wouldn't be caught and continued to walk carefully after Max.

Max finally made it to the door and he silently opened it, trying not to make any sound

Alita looked behind her and didn't see anyone, she walked up to Max and waited as he opened the door.

Max opened the door and held it open for Alita, looking around to make sure no one was behind her.

Alita curtseyed sarcastically and grinned while she walked out the door. she waited outside for Max and looked up at the sky, the sun was almost set and the stars were coming out.

Max smiled slightly and walked out after her, closing the door behind him. He sighed in relief and glanced at the sky.

Alita waited as Max came outside "wow, its really nice out tonight," she looked over at him and smiled and looked at the sky again.

"It is," Max agreed, still looking at the sky.

"Well, where should we go?" Alita stood closer to Max and laced her finger in between his, please dont pull away… she thought to herself.

Max blushed slightly and let her. "I don't know." He answered, a small smile on his face.

"i have an idea, if you want to go for a quick swim that is," Alita looked at him and smiled, she blushed. "it's a small lake in the woods a little ways, the one i told you about before."

Max shrugged. "Sure."

"Alright, let's go." Alita started walking to the forest, her hand still holding Max's.

Max blushed slightly and followed her.

Alita smiled and started humming to herself as she and Max reached the woods and kept walking.

Still following her

Alita finally got to the lake and looked at Max "this is it," she gestured at the lake and let go of his hand to pull off her socks and boots.

Max looked at the lake then nodded at Alita. "Okay then," He looked at the lake again before pulling off his socks and boots.

Alita smiled and shoved her socks into her boots before backing up a few steps to jump into the lake.

Max did the same and followed her.

Alita grinned and took a running jump and yelled "yahooooo!" as she jumped in the cold water, cannonball style.

Max chuckled and jumped into the lake normally.

Alita sprung back up and whipped her now soaking wet hair out of her face, "Well, the water is pretty cold today," she laughed and swam farther into the lake, dipping under the water ever so often as she went.

"I can tell." Max said with a slight laugh. He went underneath the water to get himself all wet and moved his hair out of his face.

Alita giggled "it's nice though, kind of refreshing."
