Alita smiled and started swimming back to shore, her tail turning back into legs when she was near the shore.

Max followed her to the shore, his rail turning back to legs when it touched the ground.

Alita walked onto the shore and sat down, wringing out her hair so it dried faster.

Max stood up and shook his head, trying to dry his hair.

Alita giggled as she watched Max dry his hair, she stood up and grabbed her boots, and put them on, smiling and humming as she did.

Max quickly stood up after he thought his hair was dry enough, grabbing his boots and putting them on, a small smile on his fac.e

"Are you ready to go?" Alita turned to Max and smiled.

Max nodded. "Yep," He answered, smiling back.

Alita grinned and grabbed Max's hand "Then lets go,"

Max blushed slightly and let her. "Let's go."

Alita started walking into the woods to her hunting tree, humming a random song as she did, she held onto Max's hand and blushed.

Max blushed slightly and he followed Alita into the woods.

Alita soon brought them to her tree and she slowly let go of Max's hand. she grinned and looked at him and grabbed the lowest branch, climbing the tree expertly, she soon got to the branches she was thinking about, they were near the top of the tree but they could still support her weight with no problem.

Max waited for her to get to the top of the tree before climbing up the tree the same way Alita did.

Alita smiled and watched Max climb, she laid back on her branch and sighed, looking at the stars.

Max laid down on a branch next to her and sighed, looking at the stars.

Alita smiled softly as he laid on a branch next to her and let her hands hang at her side, watching the stars as she did.

Max gently held Alita's hanging hand with his own, watching the stars as he did.

Alita blushed and whispered to Max "it's so peaceful up here…" she squeezed his hand and looked over at him.

Max also blushed slightly and glanced at Alita, a small smile on his face. "I know right," He whispered back.

Alita smiled "I wish I could live up here, life is so much easier without dealing with food or a house or anything…" she looked back up to the sky and sighed.

"Same here," Max mumbled, glancing at the sky while sighing happily.

Alita sighed and continued to hold Max's hand, she slowly closed her eyes and smiled.

Max kept blushing slightly as he watched the sky, a small smile on his face the whole time.

Alita slowly started to fall asleep on the tree branch, her hand went limp and she started to snore quietly, completely asleep.

Max glanced at her when her hand went limp and kissed the top of her forehead, the smile still on his face.

Alita smiled slightly and her eyelids fluttered when Max kissed her forehead, but she continued to sleep.

Max sighed and also shut his eyes, falling asleep a few minutes later.

Alita rolled on her side on the tree branch, facing Max but not falling off the branch as she slept.
