Max glanced back at Alita and kept swimming, his feet turning into a black tail.

Alita continued to swim after Max, her feet turning into a elegant turquoise and silver tail, which helped her go faster. she caught up to the tip of max's black tail and grinned, she almost caught him.

Max kept swimming, not looking back at all. Gills started appearing on Max's arms and a few on his face which defined his facial structure.

Alita pushed herself as a few gills appeared on her neck, she tapped Max's tail and continued to swim, waiting to see if he felt it or not.

Max immediately turned around and pulled his tail up to his chest, trying to find what touched his tail.

Alita smiled and swam over to him, grinning.

Max glanced at Alita and smiled back

Alita swam to the surface and took a breath of air, even though she had gills.

Max stayed underwater and waited for her.

Alita grinned and dove back down to Max, flipping her tail gracefully through the water behind her.

Max smiled slightly and watched her quietly.

Alita did a small flip before swimming over to Max and stopping in front of him.
