She giggled and turned on the oven. “So what do we do while it cooks?” She asked him, wondering if he was any better at this than she was. By this, she meant having anyone over and not being a total idiot. Whenever people were at her house it was usually in small groups and not one on one.
i'm bored who wants to do a one-on-one? (closed)
"Hmm…" He walked up to her, placing his hands on her waist and looking down into her eyes. "I don't know."
She put her arms around his neck, tilting her head to look into his eyes as well. “Well, I guess we have quite the dilemma,” she said, inching closer and laughing.
A smirk inched it's way into his face as she crept closer. "Indeed, we do." He brought her closer to him and began to kiss her, wanting to start where they were. It was a gentle and loving kiss that he hadn't ever actually given before.
She kissed him back, this time taking her time. She explored his mouth with hers, completely forgetting about the pizza for a moment. She was kissing a boy in her kitchen. Not only that, but she was kissing Zavian in her kitchen.
He pressed her against the counter behind her, not wanting any space between them, but also not wanting to break the kiss. They were fragile, the smallest thing will make them shatter to a million pieces, never to be the same.
She held him like at any moment he could turn into thin air, gentle and carefully. She closed any remaining space between them, not a care in the world besides being as close as possible.
His chest ached for air, but he refused to give it. In this moment, breathing didn't matter. Fern seemed to breathe for him, every movement a breath of fresh air. He gently tightened his grip on her waist feeling her pull him closer.
Fern shifted her grip from his neck to his back, moving her hands across it. She needed him right now like she needed oxygen. Everything about this moment was perfect, and every time they kissed she hoped it wouldn’t be their last.
As the kiss continued, he let it grow as if it was one massive crescendo, one entire piece placed around it just for a single moment. His heart pounded with electricity, each movement of her's striking up one of his own, his hands moving just below her waist. He could feel everything become blurry from lack of oxygen. He broke away for a moment to breathe. He could feel his entire chest just barely holding up as he sucked in as much as he could. He didn't want to stop, so instead of going full in, he sent little butterflies as he began to gently kiss her neck.
Fern was practically gasping for air, but managed to laugh. She took the opportunity to take a nice, deep breath. Her heart was pounding, but it felt good. This was definitely better than learning about a bunch of dead guys.
He kissed her gently, finding her collarbone and kissing it. Hr moved just below it where her shirt cut off, placing his lips gently there. Gentleness had never been anything he had considered when he had kissed any girls before, but here he was, being as light as a feather.
She smiled. Suddenly, the oven began beeping, signaling it was done. She pulled away and sighed. “Guess I should get that,” she muttered breathlessly. “Don’t wanna burn down the house or anything.”
He let go of het at the last second as she went out of his reach. He smirked a little, everything just a little brighter. "That probably wouldn't do any good." He leaned back against the cabinet and crosses his arms.
She laughed. “Probably not,” she said as she took out the pizza. She set it on the counter and closed the oven door. She smiled at him.
He chuckled a little as he walked over and hugged her from behind. "You know, now that I've had you in my arms, I don't like how cold it is without you." He buried his face in her hair, taking in how wonderful she smelled. Why do girls' hair always smell so good? (That's actually a direct quote from my guy friend XD)
Lol that’s great XD//
She giggled. “Then keep holding me,” she replied.
Sorry for the short reply//
(No worries!)
He did exactly as she said. "Okay." He closed his eyes and just held her there. It could have lasted forever and he would've been fine with it.
She smiled and put her hands on his, loving the feeling. She just stood there for a moment, which in her opinion was way too short.
"How did the jerk get the goody two shoes?" This moment, however beautiful, was practically impossible. He hadn't even thought it would ever happen, and yet, there they were, staring alone in her kitchen. "I mean, it's like defying gravity."
“Maybe because he’s not really a jerk,” she said with a smile. “Besides, this is practically a cliche.” She giggled. “Like, you’re Danny Zuko and I’m Sandy!” She paused for a moment before singing quietly. “Met a guy, cute as can be~”
He laughed and sung the counterpart only a line before without thinking. "I met a girl, crazy for me~" If he had, he would have thought about it, maybe covered the fact that he knew exactly who and what she was talking about. And singing for that matter. Yet, he didn't
She giggled, charmed. Her stomach growled. “So let’s eat then?” She suggested.
He released her from his embrace, though he didn't want to. "Yeah." He could already feel her warmth missing in his arms.
She cut up the pizza and took a slice for herself, leaning against the counter as she ate it. She figured she’d eat another slice or two. She couldn’t help looking at Zavian, and she hoped that she wasn’t staring, but at this point, did it really matter? She felt light and happy and the only thing she really wanted was to be back in his embrace.
He took a slice and leaned up against the counter across from her, taking the first bite. At first, he just looked at his slice, but glanced up to her to find her staring. A smile crept across his face. He finished chewing keeping the eye contact. "Hi."
She blushed, glancing away for a moment before looking back at him. “Hi,” she repeated. She smiled at him before taking another’s bite.
He smiled back at her, almost a smirk. "Gosh, you're adorable." He took another bite and laughed a little.
