The sunlight slowly filtered into the guest room. Victor had settled down into a more relaxed position, settled around Jared. He had the smaller male pressed to his chest. He looked rather peaceful like this.
Jared was curled up against Victor's chest, his head nestled into the crook of the bigger man's neck. He shifted faintly as he started to wake up.
Victor stayed still, his body barely moving as he let out a content sigh in his sleep. A bit of hair fell into his face as he slept. He was still holding Jared protectively.
Jared shifted again, pressing closer to Victor and holding onto him needily.
Jared gently cupped the back of Jared's head, keeping him close.
Jared let out a soft sigh, still mostly asleep.
Victor knew he needed to get up. But that was the most peaceful sleep he had ever experienced, and the person beside him was so warm.
He shifted faintly, slowly beginning to shake off sleep.
Victor grunts quietly in his half awake half asleep daze.
He shifted again, eyelids flickering faintly.
Victor slowly opened his eyes and froze, seeing how close the other was to him.
He woke up just a tiny bit later, opening his eyes and looking up at Victor.
Victor squeezed his eyes shut after he saw Jared. He looked so cute- no. Victor was a body guard. He wasn't supposed to get attached.
Jared looked up at Victor, a faint blush spreading over his cheeks as he considered just how close they were right now.
Victor hummed softly in his sleep, giving a quiet sigh. He was in a haze. He knew that Jared was in his arms. But he was so warm and it had been ages since he held someone so close.
Jared didn't move, just wanting to stay here in Victor's arms, where he felt safe and warm and secure.
Victor grunts softly as he slowly opens his eyes and runs his hand through Jared's hair, enjoying the peace and quiet.
He looked up at Victor, letting out a breath as he felt his hands in his hair.
Victor heard that soft breath and slowly pulled away, looking down. "Oh! Good morning." His morning voice was thick and deep, and a quiet yawn left his lips.
He bit his lip faintly. "Good morning." He breathed, looking up at Victor.
He smiled faintly, "How- how did you sleep?" He asks, not moving quite yet.
"Mm…better." he replied softly. "Thank you."
Victor nods and smiles gently. "Good. I'm glad…" He murmured quietly.
He hummed faintly, leaning into Victor.
Victor paused before pulling him close, shielding him, keeping him safe.
"Thank you for staying." He whispered softly, closing his eyes.
"Of course." He murmured quietly. "I'm glad I could help a little bit."
