He looked up at Victor. "Okay." he said quietly.

He smiles and stands slowly. "Is there anything I can do? Or shall we figure things out as we go?"
He shrugged a little bit. "I don't know. I'm sorry." he said softly. "I'm just…a little anxious or…or something, I guess…"
He nods. "it's okay, I promise. Your anxiety is natural." He replies gently, placing a hand on Jared's shoulder.
He looked up at Victor again, brown eyes cautious and unsure.
He offers a kind smile before walking to the kitchen to grab some water. "Would you like some water?" He asks after a moment, turning his gaze back to the smaller male.
He nodded a little. "Yes please." he said softly. "And, uhm, maybe it would best if you did the…the boyfriend thing? I…if it's obvious I've got a bodyguard, it's…I don't know. Bodyguards are common enough, I suppose, but…" he trailed off, looking down at his hands and fidgeting.
He nods and grabs the water and carries a glass to Jared. "The boyfriend thing can work." He assures gently. "It would make sense if you'd like to keep a more undercover appearance." He smiled and settles back down beside Jared.
Jared took the water, nodding again. "Yeah…"
He smiles gently and stands slowly, stretched a little. "What time do we need to head out?"
He thought for a moment. "About six, I believe. And, uhm, about the whole… boyfriend thing…y-uou don't have to kiss me, by the way. I understand that that's, uhm, not really…you know. So. You won't have to kiss me or hug me or do anything you're uncomfortable with."
He nods in thought. "That can work. I'll get a car prepped by 5:45 ish…" He hummed in thought before turning his gaze back to the other. "Don't worry. I won't do anything you're not comfortable with." He replies gently. Victor offered a small smile.
He nodded a little. "Okay. And…I need to run home and pick up a suit. It's…not something I can arrive at dressed like I am right now."
He nods, "Yes of course! We can go do that now if you wish. It's not too bad of a drive." He smiles gently.
He nodded a little. "That would be nice. Thanks." He said softly.
He nods in reply and hums softly as he finishes off his water before grabbing his keys. "We'll leave whenever you're ready."
He nodded, finishing his own water and getting up. "I'm ready now, I guess."
He nods and walks out to the car, opening the passenger side of the car for Jared.
Jared climbed in, shooting him a grateful smile.
He starts up the car and pulls out before driving them to back to Jared's house. He hummed contentedly with the radio.
Jared was quiet, leaning his head on the window and closing his eyes.
The car drive was pretty quiet and fairly fast. When they arrived at Jared's house he gets out of the car and opens the passengers side for Jared.
Jared got out of the car, giving Victor a slightly shy smile. "Thank you." he said softly, heading up towards the house.
Victor nods and smiles. "Of course… do you want me to come with you or to stay here?" He asks curiously.
Jared shrugged a little. "It's up to you." He replied. "I…I don't really have a preference."
He nods before quietly following the other, a small and gentle smile on his lips. He wanted to make sure the other was safe no matter what the situation was.
He headed into the house, unlocking the door and heading inside. On the threshold of his room, he paused, remembering what had happened in there.
Victor was there beside the other. He paused as well before noticing Jared. He places a gentle hand on the others shoulder. "You're safe, I promise." He eases gently.
Jared looked up at him for a moment, taking a deep breath and nodding slowly. "Okay." He said softly, heading into the room and then into the closet.
He nods and keeps a careful eye out for any sign of trouble. All seemed to be well, but that didn't mean that he got to relax. He made sure to keep Jared in his sights as well, making sure no one could sneak up on them.
